WE JUST NEED TO PROMOTE OUT ITEMS TO GLOBAL LEVEL. WE NEED TO GET THESE THING OUT FROM LOCAL TO GLOBAL. WE NEED TO EXPOSE THESE ARTIFACTS TO THE PEOPLE. WE NEED TO REDESIGN IT. WE NEED TO MAKE IT ACCESSIBLE TO PEOPLE ALL AROUND.I HAVE SEEN PEOPLE STRUGGLING TO FIND SHOPS TO BUY HANDLOOM ITEMS,THUS WE NEED TO BRING IT TO THEM. 5. Malls should be bound to have some reserved space for Khadi and Apparel business houses must be bound to have some % of business in khadi or handloom.Govt must support the action with SOP.
We should go through the raised questions and points and needs to be checked what all can be implemented and executed...Although there can be various other answers as well which should be derived in a group discussion of business leaders and marketing Gurus..and fortunately our PM is one of them..Thanks

1.Who are the potential shoppers?
2.communication of Features- why one should buy
3.Documentary movie or Ad with a Brand Icon or youth Icons and telecast on the channels which is seen by the potential buyers. CRICKETERS SHOULD BE BOUND TO DO THE DOCUMENTARY.SOME TAX SOPS CAN BE GIVEN TO THE ICONS.
4. Mall presence is must, A group can be formed and it should be backed by Govt subsidy only for 1st 5 years. The Mall can be given some benefit which promote khadi.

Handloom weaving can be improved by bringing in product design engineers that can improve on the mechanism. Each market/country is unique. You cannot make a product/yarn & expect it will work in all markets. Curtains/window sizes/wall hangings/custom weave all factor into a purchase. No sale/no money. Allow clients to send electronic product requirements. Standardize all raw materials used with specifications-for uniformity of design/quality. Show products by developing site like Etsy 4 clients.

Brand name is one of the most attracting criteria to ensure quality of the handloom. and maintaining of certification for assurance of quality is creating the good impression in the customer mind. also Approved MRP'S from supplier helps people economy.

we have a hige export market for our indian creative handloom but not the regular handloon which has become a matter of past. but for the export market stitching quality should be very good. which we in india have not learnt as we have chalta hai attitude.
we need to have seperate classes for stitching in all the fashion institutes and should promote no chalta hai attitude towards quality
