Lack of resources and lack of good opportunities are main cause of brain drain. I am a Mechanical Engineer having more than 2 year experience. Me and my friend tried a lot to switch to a good company before somedays, but all the companies need recommendations and what we call 'pehchan' to get recruited here. In the end my friend went to Abu Dhabi and is working there now. To stop brain drain we should develop more opportunities for experience holders.
