How can we stop the ‘brain drain’ wherein we are losing some of the brightest minds to other nations due to lack of suitable opportunities here? At the same time how do we get back those who left India, giving them opportunities whereby they shine and make India proud?

Good Morning! I have just read Sudha Murthy's story A Red Letter Day or A Nation holiday? Plz, start a new trend by making half work-day and half celebration-day on all national holidays&all types of JAYANTIES.It will awake&arise new enthusiasm in the children & specially in the youth who have forgot all their inheritance and the omnipotent culture of Bharatwarsh. Plz, save the future of our nation by starting such programs in which our youth can participate wholeheartedly.SAVE YOUTH SAVE NATION

PRISON OVERCROWDING: Consider building community housing for youths and those convicted of minor crimes. Keep them separate from serious offenders. Use their skills in appropriate work, teach others some trade. Impart spiritual teachings so that after release they become law-abiding citizens. Early release for good behaviour and after signing bond for probationary period. Idea is to reform them, teach them some trade, make them self-supporting,so that they begin to live with dignity in society.

Why do people work in other countries - 1 better pay, 2 better lifestyle - create an environment that supports at least one of the needs - the leak will automatically get blocked. Make in India is a good start - make sure entrepreneurs are given enough support - the incubation provided to entrepreneurs will create a system that will automatically retain talent.

The main reason for brain drain is the favourable environment prevailing in developed nations. By focusing on good administration, improving the social conditions, eliminate corruption, abolish caste based quota system for supertech jobs. The essence is good governance. In India, cricketers and other sports persons enjoy more incentives including award of Padma Awardswhile the scientists and entrepreneurs do not get recognised. So recognition and awards by the Government should be initiated.

Government should initiate major moves in the Manufacturing sector . Most used items/hardware/Goods in all Foreign countries should be researched and their manufacturing plants should be initiated with Public-private partnerships &/or self whichever way it blossoms the most. This manufacturing initiative itself will create Crores of Jobs. Also Skilled divisions should initiate Hardware Technology Parks in the country wherein Advanced hardware of High use in the world is made.

Suggestion for planting trees. On both the sides of roads, railways line, rivers, canals and outskirts of cities, common people can plant trees like mango, Amala, Jamun, Banayan and Pipal. The land will belong to owners like government/organizations but the fruits will belong to the person planting and tending. After 30 years wood too will belong to the person. No money will be given by Govt. Track the ownership through Aadhar card. Detailed discussions can be held on the topic.

Lot of debate recently on which festival should be celebrated and why. In a country where forget the minority even majority celebrates different festivals - North India considers Rakhi important, South India does not; Western India considers Ganesh Festival important and eastern India Pujo and so on and so forth, can we consider a novel approach? Apart from the three national holidays, let us give everyone 7 days 'by choice' religious leave. Everyone may choose their festival.
