Please remove 'quotas' given to many people. Allow Mcdonald, Dominos, Piza hut, Haldiram, Bikaner, Uddupi etc to provide meal/snacks in the train. Unused lands of railway can be given to shopping complexes, cinema hall, recreation clubs on rent. Do not permit TTE for allowing berths/tickets inside the train, rather make it available online. Allow ticketing in last two hrs with additional cost and for this additiona coach can be integrated. No of coaches can be increased in selected routes.

Firstly, Indian Railways needs to assess its potential in terms of attracting the number of eye balls, both nationally and internationally.
1. IR can lease their trains for advertising outside the trains.
2. Areas near railway stations can be leased out for potential businesses.
3. IR can lease trains Exclusively transport precious items of companies within India.
4. Lay certain new tracks for non-tariff sources.
5. Introduce paid services for lounges for exclusive use as hotels.
