Least but not the last, token ticket/coupon ticket system like metro must be generated to all the stations to fetch handsome revenue, which is going to the pockets of TTs etc as a black money. This will also curtail black money.

Parking is a major issues in all the cities & towns. Railway lands can be let out for parking for non-railway users as, it doesn't require huge infra structure or upfront cost from railways or vendors.

1. Railway Should get tie-up with private hotels, Big cab owner Companies (e.g. Ola etc) and give these services to passenger while booking ticket and add these fair in ticket as well as. yes railway has dormitory facility but it doesn't has that much awareness.
2. Stationary which looks small but takes a lot money so railway can adopt paperless administration with the help of making digital signature of higher authority.
3. Give Better wifi on stations and put some charges on that.

Some of the ideas are as follows :=
01. Railways must run maximum on solar power to curtail the cost.
02. The land besides railways station, yard can be used b y opening a executive mall including big bazar etc, so that the travelers can use the maximum time, lying with them.
03. By opening maximum ATMS/e-lobby of various banks on the adjacent sites, revenue can be generated smoothly.

1.The biggest non fare revenue generator for the railways would be proper utilisation of the space available at each railway station. There is lot of space which has not been put in use and at many places, it has been occupied by either the slum developers or by some big guns. Many of such places can be even commercially utilised to generate high revenue and would ease the life of the public living around.
2.Solar energy should be harnessed at each station and even on the trains surface.

Quality of food & lounges in railway stations is poor and public has no faith. For short travelers, Lodges, Restaurants are required. Collaboration with local cab operators, restaurants, lodges to open franchise. Or the local operators can have small both in railway stations to provided services to start with, as we see in airports etc.. Also local trip operators can also be encouraged.

1) Get more passenger in 2 AC OR 1 AC coach with only one Toilet at center - as passenger is less, can be OK.
