Please excuse the reservation on selecting teacher in education . because we lose the merits because of cast . Less knowledge give less .this is advantage for private schools .do it and see the results.

The method of education needs to be changed.Teachers to be trained as Trainers

GOVT., ALLOCATES HUGE RESOURCES FOR VARIOUS SECTORS. SOME RESOURCES ALSO SHOULD BE SPENT FOR EDUCATING THE PERSONS THOSE WHO ARE ADDICTED TO LIQUORS /TOBACCO / ETC., WHERE MILLIONS OF CITIZENS AT VARIOUS LEVELS ARE CAUSING DAMAGE TO THEIR FAMILIES, AND ALSO TO THE NATION. THE SITUATION IS WORST IN MIDDLE CLASS, LOW AND ABOVE MIDDLE CLASS AND ALSO AT LOWER CLASS.

A professionally committed group of educational practitioners,who love children and this country,be formed at the PM's behest and sent to Finland, S.Korea,Singapore, USA, China, Australia,Japan etc for an in depth study of the educational ideas, institutions and practices that made them educational super powers , will be worth before we proceed with any serious policy change in education. We can also request all POIs working in th sector in these countries to guide us consolidating the gains.

Our examination system has to be radically reformed not only because it is outdated but also because in may areas such as in UP and Bihar "copying" in examination has become must do job for the family of the student. Means not only the many student pass examination through copying but also the family take active to help their ward in copying during examinations. Hence reforming the method of examination will radically change the whole eco system of current method of parroting the text books.

Give equal importance to sports in education.

am a research scholar in anthropology from Madras university just went through the document . To all the decision makers I find one major lacuna in the draft document , the aspirations of the future citizens are being decided without their participation which may result in a another generation of submissive employees and not the vibrant young society we as elders aspire for please have more focus group discussions with the college drop outs to find out their disenchantment with the system.

To dignitaries concerned, Dr V Evelyn, Professor in an engineering college at Erode district for the past 16 years. Hence with that experience i would like to share my suggestion with you regarding the education policy. Education in engineering colleges will have to be based on Revised Bloom's taxonomy (RBT) and STEM (Science Technology Engineering Mathematics) concept. RBT deals with both cognitive and knowledge domain of leaning. Please permit me to give a detailed presentation on this.

Focus on building relationships rather than on competition: The present Indian education has been tuned to the competitive market ideology, which may appear to improve quality but WILL be stressful. However, if the Focus of Education is to teach students to build relationships across people, countries and cultures through sharing and learning, highlighting the advantages of doing so in BUSINESS Terms, starting at School Level, then Better Citizens will emerge en masse.
