During this month's 'Mann Ki Baat' programme the Prime Minister will share his 'Mann Ki Baat' with youngsters appearing for the various board examinations and competitive exams.

The Prime Minister invites all of you, particularly students, parents and teachers to share their experiences about examinations be it preparing for examinations, the role of parents and teachers in the run up to the examinations.

Please also share memorable exam anecdotes that have left a lasting impression in your minds.

Some of the inputs received will be compiled in the form of an e-book that will become a friend to all youngsters taking these board and competitive exams.

SCHOOL /BOARD EXAMS: Every year the exams are clashing with the CRICKET MATCHES and it affects the students badly, they cannot concentrate on exams - cricket is a big distraction.We have ensure the future of young generation and see that SPORTS specially cricket does not come in the way of childrens studies and future. CRICKET is played 365 days, they can plan the matches after the exams.

sir First we need to change the education system.It should have more practicals than theories......also most of the today generation dont know anything about agriculture..they should be trained to know something about it..otherwise we are going to suffer a lot

Compulsory exercises and yoga should be there in all schools and colleges. This will improve the health of the students.

Students should be taught the virtues of honesty, truthfulness, Ahimsa and Dharma in classes. They will then come up in life as good citizens. Interesting episodes of Ramayana and Mahabharata should be taught in classes.

Respected Sir, Why should courts have court holidays? We should promote Lawyers to senior position based on how quickly cases are effectively closed in addition to other criteria. The lawyers take lot of cases beyond their capacity and purposely delay the cases. Lot of National time waste. More courts, more judges, system for faster dispensation of cases

Respected Sir, I am in Saudi Arabia. Sir, my friends & many NRI Indians are suffering because of corruption in passport offices. If we have to renew the passports & get related things done, we have to pay bribe to get the works done at all levels. The agents claim that they have to pay the officers also. for example just for renewal in tatkal situation they take 5000 rs sir. As we come to India only in small vacation we have less time to complete the formalities. We are exploited by the agents.

Mr PM Sir! What India really lags at present times is A solid, transparent, efficient, result-oriented Public Grievance System. A system in which we can keep track of our issue status online and offline. It will first go to immediate Public Grievance Officer(PGO) then to next higher official, state level authority, national level authority so on till it resolved. Exisiting Grievance Mechanisms totally fail to address the issues of public may it be the banking ombudsman, so it is time for revamp!

Respected Sir, I'm in Saudi Arabia.1) Here all the government tenders are open bid and allocated to the lowest bidder. Suggest this approach to be adopted for by Central Gov. and Gov. of India enterprise. 2) Indian products like AMUL, Medimix etc. are equal the best global brand available and costs nearly 1/3 in price. Such products are seldom available on the shelves. In other words Indian products are in great demand. Please do what ever possible for exports to Saudi Arabia / ME.
