During this month's 'Mann Ki Baat' programme the Prime Minister will share his 'Mann Ki Baat' with youngsters appearing for the various board examinations and competitive exams.

The Prime Minister invites all of you, particularly students, parents and teachers to share their experiences about examinations be it preparing for examinations, the role of parents and teachers in the run up to the examinations.

Please also share memorable exam anecdotes that have left a lasting impression in your minds.

Some of the inputs received will be compiled in the form of an e-book that will become a friend to all youngsters taking these board and competitive exams.

Sir, There should be a uniform education structure through out the country. Because when students from state board go out they feel like they wasted their time by studying in state board.

अगर हम शिक्षा की बात करें तो आज भी हमारे स्कूल के पाठ्यक्रम में स्किल डेवलपमेंट से सम्बंधित और तकनिकी ज्ञान का अभी भी अभाव है. किताबी ज्ञान के साथ साथ प्रैक्टिकल विषयों हमे ध्यान देने की आवश्यकता हैं जिसके माध्यम से छात्रों को केवल किताबी ज्ञान से आगे आकर बढ़कर मुनको उनके विषय से सम्बंधित प्रैक्टिकल बातों का भी ज्ञान हो सके और

In Rajkot, we found epidemic of suicidal tendency among board Students. We pasted Value of Life Posters at Water Drinking Spots in Schools. Created Surveillance mechanism for identifying At risk child .Teachers to report this child's Parents. counselling groups formed for Life beyond Boards. Motivational programs before Exams conducted. News Papers requested not to highlight Students suicide News. Rajkot DM DR.Rajender Kumar with Rajkot Management Association managed 80% reduce in Suicides

Sir, My inputs for Man ki baat:are as follows Students are becoming exam centric.They join classes who have connections .They get most likely qustions , they prepare for that and as expected get good marks too.However after they get in to real work situations they fail to deliver.They lack skills and competencies.So the students should be encoraged to develop skills rather than going after marks.In the marketplace and in Govt institutions also merit only should count.

Lets also talk about coaching institute culture in country.Students who are joined in coaching by paying huge fees,a middle class family cant afford such coaching and i being an IITian can say that coaching institutions have come a long way proving their efficiency and it is hence difficult to compete without coaching but schools can help a lot in this matter by guiding the students in lots of matter they are not aware and also by imparting a quality learning.

Coaching center should be stopped as they are creating hype in students & parents mind about exams e.g. AIR 2 by our student & they will give full page advertisement in the newspaper which make the students & parents think of taking Admission in their class. Also they charge a huge amount of fees around 1 lakh which is really high for a middle class family. They have made education a business. To stop these coaching center the quality of education in schools must be improved. Thank you

Respected sir, u r doin a great job as our prime minister and a leader. There are few things on which I want to put some light regarding admission in colleges. There are many institutes who have many seats for engineering and medical as well as other degrees also but for competitive exam students they show only few seats. Other many seats they fill up on the basis of donation and for that they r ready to bargain also. we have to make these institutes realise that education is not a business

Respected sir,i want to ask u a simple question.that your govt.comes with the aim of job creation..but it seems off the track as IBPS which conduct banking recruitment did not give the job to thousand of candidates even though candidates are qualified and according to ibps we are eligilble for the job..vacancies are there..when we talk with ibps helpline no..there is no response from their side which leaves us in pain..please look into the matter...please please sir....

are not getting good education for their child So we need good policy towards education so that it attracts people to be a good teacher TEACHER IS THE HUMAN ENGINEER WHICH CAN DEVELOP A STUDENT IN ALL ASPECTS.
