During this month's 'Mann Ki Baat' programme the Prime Minister will share his 'Mann Ki Baat' with youngsters appearing for the various board examinations and competitive exams.

The Prime Minister invites all of you, particularly students, parents and teachers to share their experiences about examinations be it preparing for examinations, the role of parents and teachers in the run up to the examinations.

Please also share memorable exam anecdotes that have left a lasting impression in your minds.

Some of the inputs received will be compiled in the form of an e-book that will become a friend to all youngsters taking these board and competitive exams.

"Swaccha Bharat" Excellent Initiative. What about "Surakshit Bharat". Millions are killed in "Road-accidents".What GOV doing? PM must speak. Ministers rides a scooter without helmet. Pedestrian safety on road, rules, infrastructure! Nothing! GOV subsidy for Hybrid-cars.NO subsidy for SAFE-CARS. Companies make hybrid-cars get money from GOV.But sell car without seat-belts, ABS, Air-bags or crash testing, light-vehicles. Heavy vehicles on road are unsafe for people. WHAT IS GOING ON!

Modiji, It was heartening to hear your affirmation on religious freedom in the recent conference in Vigyan Bhavan. EDventhough our Constitution enshrines equality irrespective of caste creed or religion why do we still have "more equals" in the name of minorities who enjoy special previlileges which go against natural justice? Should we not have a national debate on this very pertinent issue where our special laws confer "more equality" to certain people in the name of religion.

Keeping aside politics and all that dirty caste based tactics I think so being first person of nation our Hon. PM should discuss his views on caste based reservation as it is like a black blot on India in 21st century. Its fine if you still keep it for 5 years but slowly and gradually govt should try to eliminate this caste based reservation should try to make SC and ST more self relied and should try to flung them away from this mentality of being some one different or special in society.

Any minister can explain what is the benefit by withdraw ST-35 in Delhi, ST-3B in U.P. others forms in others states in VAT (Sales) Tax Dept.

Studying for days and burning midnight oil are common practices that students follow to clear a competitive exam,with growing competition the students put a huge pressure on themselves to standup to their parents expectations.This is the time parents should show support towards their children instead of putting them under pressure for grades,My personal experience with some friends who were extremely talented but faced enormous parental pressure showed deterioration in efficiency.

Respected PM, Kya aap aisa Hindustan bana saktay hai jaha garib ho ya ameer sabko ek jaisi education, medical facility and justice mil sakay ? We are loosing opportunity if we are not equally educating poor people. Education – food – Medical facility – Justice Guarantee

Respected PM, I am working in IIT coaching Institute.As we know the competition is very high now a days and more than students, parents are pressuring to students. I think that all coaching classes should be closed because the fees for 12th is upto 3lacs & i think competitive exams preparation should be teach in schools because middle class family cant effort so much fees but they also have right to education. Please do something changes in school teaching so every student can dream fot IIT JEE.

Our syllabus and teaching is more to gain bookish knowledge rather than practical knowledge. This results into Students getting tend to mug up the answers and appear for exams. The whole cycle of syllabus to exam needs a paradigm change. The pressure of IIT JEE is so much that students from 8th and 9th Standards needs to attend the Foundation classes, almost 4 to 5 years study only for IIT JEE entrance exams. And how many of then could crack it even after that. Is it really required?

Dear Prime Minister Sir, I am a DOEACC student which was set up by Human Resource Development. This course is so tough and knowledge that student gain is not less than B.tech and MCA students but in market there is no value of DOEACC students. Even students who passed this exams eligible to take GATE exams but Universities are not give admission to us. Some people say this happens B'coz of lack of marketing by Government for this course. Sir we only want recognition to this course. Thank you.

Exams are always a tension -as a student my mom would help me revise the portions atelast thrice before the exam.As a teacher I advise students to study daily so that they dont need to cram before the exam.As for competitive exmas its about speed risk taking and remembering key formulae at a crucial time-it requires specific coaching and an aggressive mindset which all children may not have
