Ganga is a Holy river for the hindu people.We should not Release Harmful chemicals and dump waste in Ganga.

I think we have to stop people from through flowers n stuff in ganga if we really want to keep it clean and pure. and obviously ban untreated drainage thrown in ganga. This would be a start.

We learnt adopting child, adopting tree adopting village, adopting parks. i heard in china, boarder areas are alloted to habitants for all purpose,keep in the shape nation demands, earn livelihhod, clean and maintain and safe guard. i suggest the way china remote villages are protected, ask/ allot banks of holy rivers to nearby villagers for cleaning and utilizing by them as peopety of nation. whereever we find no takers, under SR nearby factory owner to make and maintain as public hub.

Ganga is self sufficient.We just have to change our mindset towards natural resources as we are only exploiting the natural resources in the backdrop of development and rituals.

Metal and Steel Factory Rifle Factory, Ishapore under Ministry of defence and all private industries and societies near bank of Ganga discharge their waste water in Holy Ganga. A canal is flowing between these two factories and met ganga but both the factories have not initiated for these. Peoples of the Kolkata are also not aware about this. I felt very shame that, we are always expecting for betterment of us from govt. but self contribution is zero. I request to all be care of you atleast.
