India is accelerating towards an increasingly digitised and data-driven economy. With increasing digitization and engagement, the volume of data is also increasing exponentially, providing opportunities for better governance, service delivery and innovation in sectors critical for societal transformation.

Against this backdrop, the National Data Governance Framework Policy aims to enhance access, quality, and use of data, in line with the current and emerging technology needs of the decade.

The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology invites all Indian citizens to bring their best ideas, inputs and suggestions to the table as we move ahead to become the hub for Data-driven innovation and decision making.

1. Most important point is to avoid DUPLICACY of data. For this the person needs to update its data as and when required.

People should be allowed to update their Master data set say Aadhar with their Voter ID, their passport number, their Driving Licence no, their Ration card no, PAN no, their ABHA no etc The more the consistent details available regarding a person the most trustworthy he should

The importance of data being valid over the lifespan of a person can't be understated & people should be trusted to keep their data in basic infostructures accurate by themselves - For eg people should be allowed to update their picture, current address in Aadhar to be updated by themselves or thro CSC & this should be accessed when needed for creating data sets of migration

The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) recently released the revised Draft National Data Governance Framework Policy (NDGFP) and invited inputs on it before June 11th, 2022. NDGFP replaces Draft India Data Accessibility and Use Policy, 2022.

The draft said that an India Data Management Office  (IDMO) will be set up under the Digital India Corporation in MeitY, which will be responsible for the data framework by developing rules, standards and guidelines under the policy.

namaskar sir I want to know when will b my govt do for families with no proper income,or source not able to work ,or other member of family have to survive even not capable. Any loan ,or any service provide for running their lives.cause digitalization sites not work ,no facility for general people,Bpl or any govt exam or any other students facility in absence of websites not working men can do from August 2021.processi . I m from mahendergarh Haryana thank u

sir pl go digital for flats and home registration and possession of property online. all documents and fees payment will be on line only. pl provide Digi locker for all such documents .all loans should be online only and repayment should be online.

sir pl provide sbi ppf account partially withdrawal and credit it to saving account on line facility this will save time and money of the indian people.no need to to sbi branch office physically. after completion of 15 years ppf account at sbi pl provide online extension period 5 years on line.this will again save money and time of persons. thanks
