India is accelerating towards an increasingly digitised and data-driven economy. With increasing digitization and engagement, the volume of data is also increasing exponentially, providing opportunities for better governance, service delivery and innovation in sectors critical for societal transformation.

Against this backdrop, the National Data Governance Framework Policy aims to enhance access, quality, and use of data, in line with the current and emerging technology needs of the decade.

The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology invites all Indian citizens to bring their best ideas, inputs and suggestions to the table as we move ahead to become the hub for Data-driven innovation and decision making.

Please refer to the policy document: Draft National Data Governance Framework Policy (PDF 509 KB)

Hi India, Another idea is setting up a Indian Hacker Group within the Military. We have the resources, we need the will. The will that only the current government can provide.

Hi India, I havent given this too much thought, but if you would like I can make this as part of my final MS in Data Science project. But here are the spill overs from my mind: I am focusing on National Security here. We have already seen the implementation of Rupay and its success. And its evident why it was ideated, developed and put to practice. I know that there is work being done to build a shopping system that transcends the greed of its competitors by providing a space for all sizes of traders in India to trade equivocally. The administration could continue providing the strong drive for this agenda. Facial recognition systems that are geopositioned and machine learning AI algorithms tat identify patterns. These patterns could be anything. Example - Ensuring gov employees to use government issued cards for all transactions, while the data is monitors using various ML algorithms for anomaly detection which might predict a corruption. And thats just one.

Sir, this project should help any small Biz to digitize that means - create websites with options to receive feedback from customer. For example if there is small restaurant then owner can create the website and list all menus so that customers can give the feedback. This data can be used in search engine like google to give suggestions to common people to exploit good food in their neighborhoods. This way all consumer market can be accelerated to rapid growth.
