India is accelerating towards an increasingly digitised and data-driven economy. With increasing digitization and engagement, the volume of data is also increasing exponentially, providing opportunities for better governance, service delivery and innovation in sectors critical for societal transformation.

Against this backdrop, the National Data Governance Framework Policy aims to enhance access, quality, and use of data, in line with the current and emerging technology needs of the decade.

The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology invites all Indian citizens to bring their best ideas, inputs and suggestions to the table as we move ahead to become the hub for Data-driven innovation and decision making.

डाटा प्रपोजल के लिए सरकार द्वारा निर्धारित प्रपत्र में व्यक्ति से डेटा की सुरक्षा करने के लिए आम आदमी को जागरूक करना पड़ेगा। उसके बाद जाकर कहीं पर आम आदमी को फायदा मिल सकता है इसलिए कह सकते हैं कि अगर हम जागरूकता फैलाएं तो ही सारे कार्य जनता तक आराम से पहुंच पाएंगे और उसका फायदा लोगों को मिल पाएगा

Indian courts are overburdened with cases of land and property disputes. This is simply because of poorly maintained land records. Anyone can get his name entered in the land records by involvement of corrupt employees of revenue department. This leads to court cases and escalated to further crimes as murders and gang wars. If land records are digitised and linked with Aadhaar it would become difficult for any individual to do the fraud as for correction or any entry in land or property records have to be validated by more than one persons. This would reduce litigations and in the times to come pending numbers of court cases should come down. Swamitya Yojana. Is already started to create digital mapping of land boundaries with drones. It seems to be a good initiative. However, effectiveness of this scheme is yet to evaluated. The data of land records have to safeguarded with at least three layers of protection to avoid frauds.
