India is accelerating towards an increasingly digitised and data-driven economy. With increasing digitization and engagement, the volume of data is also increasing exponentially, providing opportunities for better governance, service delivery and innovation in sectors critical for societal transformation.

Against this backdrop, the National Data Governance Framework Policy aims to enhance access, quality, and use of data, in line with the current and emerging technology needs of the decade.

The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology invites all Indian citizens to bring their best ideas, inputs and suggestions to the table as we move ahead to become the hub for Data-driven innovation and decision making.

very high tax for salaried. i am not able to buy home because of direct high tax. shall i leave india? Thank you for increasing black money and corruption in India. You have many blind followers. You yourself is also blind, you cannot see reality.

An advisory is issued for the public to not give the copies of Aadhaar to everyone. Public was advised to give Aadhaar copies with last four digits to avoid frauds. But just few hours later it is withdrawn. So, even government is not sure what is safe or what is not safe. There are many people in the country who oppose any move to digitise the personal records in the name of privacy. Actually, these people do not want any system so that the mess continues and they reap the benefits in the absence of any check. So, government shall be very cautious about handling the data. Any news of data leakage gives shot in arms of these people. Aadhaar is actually now the base of everything Digital in India. Therefore, Aadhaar data has to be preserved with absolute safety. How to avoid misuse of Aadhaar data shall be the priority. How to identify and remove duplicate Aadhaar cards from system shall be worked out. Aadhaar cards issued to illegal migrants shall be cancelled.
