Poor plantation workers are on the verge of suicide sir!. The benefits due for them have not been received/settled till this date. The children have not been able to complete their education in this regard. There are no good houses to sleep in. They are living in the dilapidated "LAYAMs". In the last budget, the package was given only to the tea estates operating in the state of Assam/West Bengal. In this coming budget(2022-23), a special package of Rs.1000 crore may please be announced for the upliftment of the tea plantation workers in Peermade Taluk, Kerala.
