Hi Modiji Public libraries can play an important role in preserving Indian culture. But at present the state government is giving a nominal grand to the libraries. Due to this small salary, part-time work does not serve the purpose. Spiritual professional social reading will raise the intellectual level. If central aid is given, the country will develop rapidly with the intellectual development of its citizens. In your budget for 2023-24, state government should contribute 50% and central government should approve 50% contribution.

Madam, It is time that we increase the 80c limit to 5 lakhs. Most of us are making investments but due to the constrain,we end up paying hefty tax. 80c should also also other components of fees paid to school apart from tution fees. Please allow individual tax payers to claim GST refunds on payments made. NPS investment should not be part of 80C. A seperate section should be there and refund should be allowed as per actuals invested in NPS. This will encourage people to invest in NPS.

Why don't we modify the concept of income tax and deduct tax on the income and not on any day to day purchases like food, clothing, resturant, vegetable, fruits etc. Today we have tax deducted for every item bought outside of the regular income. This means for any middle class individual more than half of the income is spent on tax while his hard work is just in vain
