Dear Modi Ji, There seems to be challenges for citizens to get caste certificate from the government. I think it is time that the caste certificate across India has to be digitised and should be automatically issued without an interface to the government. If a common man interfaces to any government service (state/central) which requires caste certificate to apply for schemes or reservations then the onus should be with the government to know what caste the applicant is and whether they are eligible rather than the applicant producing the caste certificate. I read today in news that a 40+ year man burned himself for not able to get a caste certificate in tamilnadu. This problem should be solvable by attaching individual’s caste to aadhar. This is so after a generation aadhar could easily deduce the caste of a new born from the aadhaar details of the baby’s mother or father when registering the birth. Cerificates like Birth, death, caste, education has to be digitised.

Dear Modiji, current postcode system used in the country is in need of modernisation to cater for services of digital era. The number of parcels delivered would out number the letters delivered in the future due to digital transformation taking place in India. With that in mind if goods and parcels has to be delivered swiftly without wasting time the postcodes we use today should be updated to be precise to a property. I propose we replace postcode with property identification number which would have both aadhar linked and latitude/longitude linked. This is so autonomous drone delivery network of future could deliver to properties precisely.

Dear Modi Ji, Building construction control and town planning for new buildings should be a central national department rather than of states. This is so, uniform practices with regards to quality, health and safety, town planning, outdoor space management is followed across the country which would make not only the life of poorer citizens happy but also reduce construction wastage, town layouts planned so it has all facilities for all citizens (garden, sports ground, wide roads, drainage, etc.,), uniform health and safety, etc., currently affluent areas in the country enjoy certain facilities which are not there in poorer areas. This would bring uniform access to facilities to all citizens and would take in to account future population growth.

Dear Modi Ji, India has tremendous growth in road infrastructure under your administration. However, there has to be a national bill for more clear road signs and for drivers to obey allroad signs. Bring in speed limits for all the roads in India. Right of passage on all junctions and round abouts should be obeyed by all drivers. Lane keeping and lane switching discipline awareness for drivers so traffic moves only in a queue and no one over takes anyone. National parking policy on public roads so drivers don’t park anywhere. There has to be automatic fines for speeding and aggressive driving through cameras freeing up traffic police time. Automatic points and fines should reflect in cibil score credit report. This would make roads safer, reduce policing effort, save lives and money. Abolish manual gears on all vehicles over time (electric vehicle would do that). Make all highways smarter with national control room and dynamic speed limit so traffic flows without interruption anywhere.
