These apps are a serious threat to online safety and privacy. I request you to address this issue on Mann Ki Baat to raise public awareness about the dangers of these apps. I also urge the government to take strong measures to filter and ban such malicious applications from the Indian market to protect our citizens, particularly women and girls, from digital harassment and exploitation.

Humble Request to Hon’ble Prime Minister YouTube and other digital platforms have become very powerful in reaching the people, especially the younger generation. While many creators do positive work, there is also much confusion due to unverified or misleading news in the name of government information. I humbly request that the Government may kindly establish a yardstick/guidelines for all YouTubers dealing with government-related news and bring them under the oversight of the Press Information Bureau (PIB) for release of official news and comments.
