Dear Sir, I suggest that Siliguri Town Station be expanded by recovering the surrounding Railway owned lands occupied unauthorisely and all long distance Passanger train should operate from the Siliguri Town Station since being in the heart of the City and all goods and Tanker Train should operate from NJP station and NJP can become the largest logistics hubs in North East. Secondly, distance between Siliguri Town Station and Siliguri Junction is less than two kilometres and I do not think we need two seperate stations in such a close proximity which can easily be merged into one by closing Siliguri Junction. This could generate huge synergy in terms of operating cost and capital cost and efficiency. For Similar reasons, two stations in Kolkata in the name of Tollygunge Station and Lake Gardens Station can easily be merged into one since the distance between these two stations is less than two kilometres. Thanking you, with regards, Pradip Dutta M -6290560538
