This practice of electoral freebies needs to be banned immediately or else it will make democracy redundant, give a free passage to criminals, anti-social and anti-national elements in due course of time. What impact that can have ultimately on the integrity of Nation you very well can understand. Such social schemes / freebies should be implemented at least one year before the due month of elections so as to avoid any undue advantage at the time of elections. Similarly, no such person should be allowed to campaign or participate in an election who is on bail or in prison. This sends very wrong signals to the younger generation and society . it glorifies / legitimizes crime.

People should be encouraged to earn whatever they want. Don’t give them any thing free. It’s a self destruction mode when country starts giving things free. It creates Kejriwal like freebies monsters and a non ending process. Pyaribahan Pyarebhai like programs are where some one gets without putting hardwork and on the other hand some one is paying N number of taxes and GST.

Sir, Freebies by any party should be declared an offence. It’s a Tax payer’s money and not meant for giving freebies. Nothing is free in this world. When some one works hard, then only cash or kind or food is created out of hard work. What right politicians have got to give it away free to buy votes and power ? Don’t push country into destruction by making people lethargic .
