Respected sir Municipal waste management is a troublesome task in our country and more emphasis needs to be done. Segregation into dry and wet waste is not enough. We need to separate plastic waste and others such as metal, glass et. However, implementation would need more guidance for public, such as door to door campaigns. An equally important task is getting ahead in technologies for getting rid of plastics from ecosystem. Micro and nano plastics have already been implicated in a lot of human and environmental hazards and this menace needs to be stopped. I have also shared some references on bioremediation of plastics on the csir public initiative platform. A lot of work is being done by scientists worldwide in this area and we can catch up too. Dear Prime Minister , Namaskar !! Soon it will be New Years Eve. This day has become popular over the years with a Section of our Young Population . There is a lot of Celebration associated with this day. But Unfortunately Some years ago in Mumbai there was a very Sad incident. A Young girl who was accompanied by a friend was Physically harassed in a Crowd at the Iconic Gateway of India.What Should have been an Evening of Fun & Gaiety for all turned into a trauma for one Young person. We need to make our Children understand the Principles of Gender Equality and the Right to Dignity for Everyone.As Parents we need to communicate these principles to our Children at a Young age.Lets make the World more Secure and Safer for our Children. Thank you.
