नमस्ते प्रधान मंत्री जी मैं पुष्पेन्द्र विद्यार्थी! मान्यवर मैं दिल्ली के नंद नगरी -110093 इलाके का निवासी हूं। मेरे घर के पास दिल्ली पब्लिक लाइब्रेरी थी जो कि एक समुदाय भवन के एक कमरे में संचालित की जाती थी। समुदाय भवन की हालत जर्जर होने की वजह से उसे ध्वस्त कर दिया गया और पुस्तकालय भी टूट गया। अब उस बड़े खाली प्लॉट को वाहन पार्क करने के लिए पार्किंग बना दी गई है पुस्तकालय कहीं और स्थानांतरित करने की बजाय हमेशा के लिए बंद हो गया और इस इलाके के छात्रों और पाठकों के सिर से पुस्तकों का साया हमेशा के लिए उठ गया। अब यहां आसपास कोई सामुदायिक पुस्तकालय नहीं है। पहले जब पुस्तकालय था तो बच्चों, वयस्कों के अलावा बुजुर्ग और महिलाएं भी पढ़ने के लिए आया करतीं थी। लेकिन अब सब खत्म हो चुका है। श्रीमान आपसे कोई मांग नहीं है बस हमें हमारा पुस्तकालय लौटा दीजिए आपकी बड़ी कृपा होगी। आप चाहे तो उस जगह का मुआयना करवा कर एक भव्य पुस्तकालय बनने का आदेश भी दे सकते हैं । मैं आश्वासन देता हूँ कि अगर ऐसा हुआ तो निश्चित ही देश एक शिक्षित समाज की ओर अग्रसर होगा। पुष्पेन्द्र विद्यार्थी 9958643522
