Covering various aspects of topics related to the Panchayati Raj System, Schemes and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through this ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ iconic week, let’s provide a strong source of inspiration to all citizens of this country inviting their ideas on the PanchayatVision@2047.

A streamlined governance, especially at the local level benefits the nation as a whole. India is a signatory to the UN 2030 Agenda to achieve inclusive and people-centric sustainable development through the 17 SDGs.

Thus, with greater cooperation from the citizens of India, efforts of the Government of India and the local bodies towards a qualitative and quantitative transformation of the Panchayati Raj System would be fulfilled.

Last date to share your ideas is 14th May 2022.

Under Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) scheme, villages have to be developed. All villages have to be provided with all amenities like water, sanitation, electricity, hospitals, etc. Doctors, engineers, technicians, etc. from surrounding/local areas have to be employed because they would understand the conditions better and hence provide proper solution. Use of local knowledge to solve local problems but applicable on global scale. Resources should flow in both the direction like village-town-city. Hence migration of people from village to town and city will be minimized. City people come to nature/village surroundings to spend some quitely during weekends. This should be used in a proper way for the overall development of the people in villages, towns and cities for the integrated development of India.

Panchayat in 2047 would be 100 years young concept. There would have been many changes in its implementation capacity and ability. There would be progress in agriculture, economy, tourism, health , education , science, space. Tours would be conducted to Mars and other planets. Solar, Wind and Hydal energy would be the main and important source of energy for everything. Robos would be used to do any type of work, Fans, lights, ACs, Heaters, Mobiles and Television would have more automated features. Fresh and clean air, no pollution of any type, digital economy, nice and kind humans would be the soul of Panchayat.

Every Panchayat should become self sufficient in terms of water, food and power. This can be achieved by maintaining existing ponds & developing new ponds, utilising waste generated for power and providing advisory services to farmers to do right cropping.
