Covering various aspects of topics related to the Panchayati Raj System, Schemes and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through this ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ iconic week, let’s provide a strong source of inspiration to all citizens of this country inviting their ideas on the PanchayatVision@2047.

A streamlined governance, especially at the local level benefits the nation as a whole. India is a signatory to the UN 2030 Agenda to achieve inclusive and people-centric sustainable development through the 17 SDGs.

Thus, with greater cooperation from the citizens of India, efforts of the Government of India and the local bodies towards a qualitative and quantitative transformation of the Panchayati Raj System would be fulfilled.

Last date to share your ideas is 14th May 2022.

We must understand the disadvantages of Berms between the two agricultural lands. 1) It reduces the crop area and hence the output. 2) It causes difficulties to utilise mechanical equipment (examples: during Harvesting, ploughing etc). 3) Many law and order issues, crime incidents reported in the past due to land boundary disputes. To improve the efficiency of Indian agriculture, Step1: Government should mark GPS coordinates of the land boundaries on all land registration documents. After the removal of berms Free land boundary bench marks shall be established in such a way that it will not affect the use of mechanical equipment. Step2: Wherever possible cooperative farming shall be encouraged. If we do so many acres of land can be clubbed by elimination of berms. Step3: Government should bring the latest technology equipment to mechanise the agricultural work activities and lease it to farmers as and when required.
