The Government has reviewed the existing draft National Youth Policy, 2014 and prepared a new draft National Youth Policy (NYP). The draft NYP envisages a ten - year vision for youth development that India seeks to achieve by 2030. It is aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and serves to 'unlock the potential of the youth to advance India'.

The draft NYP seek to catalyze widespread action on youth development across five priority areas viz. education; employment & entrepreneurship: youth leadership & development; health, fitness & sports; and social justice. Each priority area is underpinned by the principle of social inclusion keeping in view the interests of the marginalized sections.

The Department of Youth Affairs seek comments/views/suggestions on the draft NYP from all stakeholders.

Please refer to the policy document: Draft National Youth Policy (PDF 1.23 MB)

The last date to share your ideas and suggestions is 15th July, 2022.

Dear PM, I would like to request you on behalf of all the young working professionals of India, to allow the young workforce in the age group of 25-30 to take part in the agneepath scheme on their own expense if they also want to serve the nation through agneepath scheme and feel the true spirit of youth with national recreational opportunity.Which will help to remove sleeper cells of terrorist from our country, statewide army centralised information exchange to the intelligence agencies just like we have central government connected with the state government and will produce well aware, characterfull and disciplined individuals from all sectors of industries to make the youth of India think above the body and make good and right use of it to render national service when called upon to do so. JAI MAA BHARTI Thanks and Regards SHUVAM ANAND PATNA,BIHAR

The draft National Youth Policy is very nice to be implemented, Youths have the power to change the economy and lead India to be successful. They are encouraged to be employers rather than employees in all types of business and services. Skills can be developed with webinars and workshops and hands-on for their particular career or business. It must be implemented thoroughly and if any weakness or leakages are found must be solved immediately. Youths are strong pillars of any successful country so due respect and care needs to be taken of them by government as well as society.

The AGNIPATH Scheme is perhaps the most visible youth-centric training and placement scheme introduced so far. Inclusion of this scheme in the Youth Policy will send a strong message to the people that the GOI has a serious and long-term vision in regard to the scheme. The confidence and enthusiasm of the youth to join in the scheme will be enhanced manifold.

Subject = Job creation Respected Ma'am,  I would like to take your 5 minutes. During lockdown I made a theory which shows how we can make  14.28..% more jobs available in many government sectors and it will be helping in development of India and other developing nations so far. I need your guidance to make this executable.    I am sending a video regarding the same. Please do have a look at it. Thanking you for your concern and support. Yours sincerely, Dr Akshay Gosai Contact no - 8200215679

Respected Prime Minister, POSITIVITY AND YOUTH Recent violence to protest Agneepath Scheme highlights the Negativity in our youth. This does not augar well for our great nation. Together we need to do something which will ensure that our ‘Youth is Positive’. They are always utilising their energy towards Positive Causes or reacting in Positive Ways where there are disagreements. I do not wish to give any suggestions on how to achieve this aim. All I wish to say that there is a need to constantly remind everyone of us, by everyone of us to imbibe Positive Values.
