The Government has reviewed the existing draft National Youth Policy, 2014 and prepared a new draft National Youth Policy (NYP). The draft NYP envisages a ten - year vision for youth development that India seeks to achieve by 2030. It is aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and serves to 'unlock the potential of the youth to advance India'.

The draft NYP seek to catalyze widespread action on youth development across five priority areas viz. education; employment & entrepreneurship: youth leadership & development; health, fitness & sports; and social justice. Each priority area is underpinned by the principle of social inclusion keeping in view the interests of the marginalized sections.

The Department of Youth Affairs seek comments/views/suggestions on the draft NYP from all stakeholders.

Please refer to the policy document: Draft National Youth Policy (PDF 1.23 MB)

The last date to share your ideas and suggestions is 15th July, 2022.

For youths of 5th generation. 1.Think and weigh your words before reacting on any issue of debate, which may spread on social platform. 2. Don't impress yourself automatically, be cool, control your anger, if any seniors or friend say something to do quickly, without judging from your brain and inner heart. 3. Be honest atleast to the Nation, Don't spoil the assets of Nation. The Assets of our nation also created from fund via taxes collected among us our brother sisters, parents and friends. 4. Be motivational by seeing and follow ur choice of ideal/ personality, but follow ir ideal completely. 5. Govt should come up with support for Start-ups at different stages of pipeline. There should be structured pre-defined govt aid available for startups at various stages of initiation. Can have a regulator/exchange for common people, to invest on startup ideas.

MY suggestions for National Youth policy are as follows: 1.Movies: Govt should ban the scenes in Movies which displays smoking, alcohol, suicide, drug, and award Danger certificate to these kind of movies and rate as 21plus movies if displayed so 2.Ads: Govt should monitor the ads run in television and other websites and apps and punish the celebrities who mislead the youth for money.Celebrities fanciness is a greater threat to nation development. 3.Celebrities: Cinema Celebrities poke their nose in all the illegal activities in the country and promote the youth to do so they should punished first before they teach youth the same because they care only about money. Every youth role played by celebrities in any movie should be well scrutinised before releasing 4.Races: Govt should introduce speed limit in all the two wheelers and four wheelers in country. No use of speed breakers. The vehicle should warn the person riding and should be saying it till the person slows. 5.Food: Govt should

Cont'd---Our minds were programed with certain education. How to do out of the box thinking is the requirement. We had the ability, thinking & passion to build. Architectural monuments are witness to what we could achieve. The science was beyond modern technology & without modern gadgets. Even now we are blessed with capabilities. Only thing is our need has to be challenged & we will rise to the requirements in a way the world is surprised. We need to be self sufficient in energy to avoid any arm twisting. If the young minds sit together to think about development with specific tasks from the govt with great rewards. The wheel of development will rotate faster. NYP has to be focused to target areas which we're comfortable with whatever infrastructure we have. Opportunities are too many select a few to engage youth for saving foreign exchange & create highly paying jobs.

National youth policy is an important factor in nation building. Understanding the mindset of the present generation youth is the building block. It's natural for any youth to expect a high salary. This will go to students who have academically done well. The average youth has to compromise for lesser amount. To improve his earnings he has to gain experience. And to become an entrepreneur with all risks without much security. Survival makes him perform & to break through. Startups is catching up now the basic need is saving foreign exchange in any form to be a robust economy. The main drains are fossil fuels, gold imports, arms etc Out of which energy plays a major role. Every day the world is looking to invent better things to be useful to mankind. Most of it happens in foreign lands. Our minds were programed with certain education. How to do out of the box thinking is the requirement. We had the ability, thinking & passion to build.
