Uttarkhand is lovely state.....depending a lot on tourism .....state government should make budgeted efforts for tourism . 1. Fixed rate of private buses and taxis . 2. Maximum benchmark for hotels and motels. 3. Encourage tourist to travel through buses rather than private vehicles . 4. Tourist should be fine if that litter around like no to plastic policy.

Please ask each state to invest portion of their fat budget on creating an underground drainage system and innovating a process to converting the drain water as drinking water. Dearest Modi, I Love you & My India! Can we please digitize the town panchayat house and land related items like getting the house plan sanctioned, pay the water/house/Electrical tax online? Example :-- This is not possible in Mahalingapuram Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. Some officials in local panchayat are very very corrupt and refuse to do anything without receiving bribe. Dearest Modi, I Love you & My India! In Washington it Rains 300 days out of 365. Enclosed drains are installed on roadsides which will not only harvest the rainwater but will avoid flooding. Dearest Modi, I Love you & My India! In India people buy plots or empty lands as an investment and don’t do anything with it. Can we have some kind of scheme or a law to remove the water sucking plants like Parthenium from their lands and force the land owners to plant certain amount of trees (preferably local fruit trees to benefit birds) in their plots or barren lands please? Dearest Modi, I Love you & My India! In US middle & high school students should contribute 100 hours/year of community service for passing each grade. They need to work with registered and recognized city or county NGOs/public - libraries, local green city, nature conservancy, clean river/beaches, schools/playgrounds or hospitals. Many a times schools and colleges organize these excursions for students. Can we please have something similar in India? Students will learn to make a difference. Uma
