In order to make the budget-making process participative and inclusive, the Department of Budget, Government of Uttarakhand invites Indians from all walks of life to contribute suggestions for the upcoming State Budget 2020-21 of Uttarakhand.

The number of tourists visiting the State, every year, is nearly three times of its population. Tourism is one of the main source of income and employment for the State. Therefore the State should have a separate full fledged budget for tourism.

we can increase the bus tickets, railway tickets, increase income taxes, home tax, vehicle tax, electric charge, water charge, if anyone have salary more than 1lakh in a month we can keep separate extra tax for them. keep perfect people's for government job and less number

Most hotels, lodges, eateries, taxis, etc. in the state are operating on Cash-only basis - Introduce measures to check this menace.

Strictly implement licensing system for all porters, horses, palkis, etc. used for carrying pilgrims at all the Char Dhaams - for the convenience of Pilgrims.

Please Collect a Toll from all those entering the state - a small token amount maybe - to compensate for the cost of exchequer in providing them basic facilities of Roads, Water, Security, etc at such difficult terrains.
