In order to make the budget-making process participative and inclusive, the Department of Budget, Government of Uttarakhand invites Indians from all walks of life to contribute suggestions for the upcoming State Budget 2020-21 of Uttarakhand.

Your valuable ideas and suggestions will ensure a better future for the citizens of Uttarakhand. You can submit your suggestions either directly in the comment box or attach a PDF document.

Tourist centers are hubs for contagious diseases. As tourism is one of major sources of revenue for state, an outbreak of disease will cause huge deficit of revenue. Govt may invest upto 100 Crores for setting up clinics and medical centers to check tourists for infectious diseases prior to arrival in airports, railways stations or in hotels upon check-in.

Invest in 5 - 10 STP across the state. All hotels, residential and commercial buildings should be connected to STP. The treated water should be used for flushing toilet and gardening and for water saplings planted in afforestation drive. 500 Crores may be allocated and part of the STP costs can be recovered from hotels.

Make the many varieties of Rajma grown in Uttarakhand, India Famous and then subsequently World Famous. 100 Crores may be allocated to build storage facility, packaging, marketing and distrbution. The project may be executed in PPP mode as well. Once this is underway, you can allocate additional 50 Crores for promiting fish farming of Himalayan Trout.

Natural disasters are common in Uttarakhand Make a policy concern to immediately help in causality areas . Uttarakhand is full of rivers and mountains . Harass the natural energy earn revenue . Make dev bhoomi top in every phase Environment conservation must needs special care here Make priority NATION FIRST

There should be an integrated approach in budget allocation, UK is a ecologically fragile state so environment must be the protected, development is very much needed but not at the cost of our ecological balance.

Budgetary Allocation requested for creating artificial lake and water bottling plant in snow bound area. The snow can be melted using Solar Power and water can be treated and bottled -- and supplied and sold. Approximately 600 crores can be allocated for this project.

Budgetary Allocation of 2 Crores requested for dredging, deeping ,widening and creating embankment with walking trails for lakes in Uttarakhand. This will allow the lakes to store more water and promote tourism. For entire state, you can estimate 50 lakes and 2 Crores per lake. So, 100 Crores may be allocated and spent.

undermentioned aspects to be considered 1. tourism- pilgrimage and adventure 2. education infrastructure enhancement 3. green energy infrastructure development 4. state police infrastructure 5. harnessing of natural resources 6. horticulture and related research 7. development of skill India initiative 8. awareness and nomination of staff for dedicated geographic area specific enrollment in government schemes 9. judicial infrastructure 10. msme infrastructure enhancement 11. healthcare setup

We can generate the revenue by implimenting an Agro Tourism Industry in Dehradoon were flood never come in Dehradoon area compare to chamoli district. Every year in chamoli district natural calamity is high. And chardham yatra is the only source in these state. So every year some crores of money spend in these area. So to balance the funds we should impliment Agro tourism industry in Dehradoon which is a good place for tourist and there is no flood in these particular area.
