Calling for stories, videos and ideas on the 11 Fundamental Duties!

Commemorating the 70th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of India this year on 26th November, 2019 , the Government of India launched a campaign focusing on creating awareness on the Fundamental Duties that are enshrined in Chapter IV-A (Article 51A) of the Indian Constitution throughout the country.

Fundamental Duties impart directions of citizenship behaviour on the part of all concerned. The onus of implementation of Fundamental Duties is on every citizen. Though not legally enforceable, they have an inherent element of compulsion regarding compliance because what is duty for one is another person’s right.

By practicing and thus reinforcing these Fundamental Duties, we, as common citizens, can play a positive and effective role in fulfilling our duties towards our country and fellow citizens and will also ensure that India occupies a rightful place in the comity of nations.

MyGov in collaboration with Department of Justice invites you to share your stories, videos or ideas on the 11 Fundamental Duties.
• to abide by the Constitution and respect its ideals and institutions, the National Flag and the National Anthem
• to cherish and follow the noble ideals which inspired our national struggle for freedom
• to uphold and protect the sovereignty, unity and integrity of India
• to defend the country and render national service when called upon to do so
• to promote harmony and the spirit of common brotherhood amongst all the people of India transcending religious, linguistic and regional or sectional diversities; to renounce practices derogatory to the dignity of women
• to value and preserve the rich heritage of our composite culture
• to protect and improve the natural environment including forests, lakes, rivers and wildlife, and to have compassion for living creatures
• to develop the scientific temper, humanism and the spirit of inquiry and reform
• to safeguard public property and to abjure violence
• to strive towards excellence in all spheres of individual and collective activity so that the nation constantly rises to higher levels of endeavour and achievement
• who is a parent or guardian to provide opportunities for education to his child or, as the case may be, ward between the age of six and fourteen years.

Fellow citizens, Please do not stare tourists when they visit our country. Just imagine you in their situation. How would you feel? Also help the tourists both male and female. Especially, female tourists have to be treated nicely, always make them feel safe and please do not stare at them. Always remember Athiti devo bhava

to be fit & fine being healthy u r आत्मनिर्भर in short to be healthy is most important cause u cn face any problem of life means u r enough able to do any kind of work not only self being healthy u r able to help others so being healthy r self responsibility & duty of society to be healthy cause it's impacts a lot self family society & economy

यद्यपि मोबाइल में कोरोना संदेश का उद्देश्य कोरोना के विषय में जागरूकता फैलाना है, लेकिन मोबाइल फोन का बहुधा प्रयोग आवश्यक सेवाओं के लिए और एमरजेंसी सेवाओं के लिए भी किया जाता है अतः सरकार को अब इस संदेश का प्रसारण बंद करवा देना चाहिए। जनता को अब कोरोना के विषय में इतनी जानकारी और जागरूकता हो गई है कि वह अब डर के साए से बाहर निकल गई है। अब चुनौती यह है कि जनता में कोरोना का डर फिर से कैसे पैदा किया जा सकता है।

आज मास्क, सैनेटाईजर, PPE किट, टेस्टिंग किट और यहां तक कि वेंटीलेटर भी देश में ही बन रहे हैं। किसी भी सामान की कमी नहीं है। सरकार ने अल्पकाल में सब व्यवस्था को सुनिश्चित करने का प्रयास किया। इसको ही #GoodGovernance कहा जा सकता है। #ItsMyDuty

मार्च में जब कोरोना की वजह से लाकडाउन की शुरुआत हुई थी तब बहुत राजनीतिक दलों ने उसका विरोध किया कि बिना किसी तैयारी के लाकडाउन लगा दिया गया। लेकिन लाकडाउन का उद्देश्य कोरोना से लड़ने की तैयारी करना ही था। उस समय हमारे अस्पतालों को इस नई बीमारी के अनुसार तैयार करना था। न मास्क थे न ही PPE थे। वेंटीलेटर, आक्सीजन के सिलेंडर भी नहीं थे। सैनेटाईजर भी नहीं थे। इन सबसे बढ़कर जनता में जागरूकता भी नहीं थी। सरकार ने लाकडाउन लगा कर अल्पकाल में सब व्यवस्था सुनिश्चित करी जिससे बहुत जिंदगियां बचाई जा सकी हैं

सिर्फ शीर्ष नेतृत्व की अच्छी सोच और अच्छी पालिसियों से बड़ा बदलाव महसूस नहीं किया जा सकता है। जब तक कार्य की जवाबदेही तय नहीं करी जाती है और लापरवाही के लिए दंड की समुचित व्यवस्था सुनिश्चित नहीं करी जाती तब तक किसी भी प्रकार के सुधार की आशा व्यर्थ है। अभी जैसे निर्लिप्त भाव से कर्मचारीगण काम करते हैं कि काम हो गया तो ठीक, नहीं हुआ तो उस काम की नियति। ऐसे में कुछ हो जाना चमत्कार ही कहा जा सकता है। और चमत्कार स्थाई नहीं होता। दीर्घ कालिक विकास के लिए प्रशासन तंत्र को उत्तरदाई बनाना पड़ेगा।

At this moment one of the most important fundamental duty of the people of India is to behave responsibly. A country can progress in every sphere of life if it has a stable government at the centre. A stable govt. can make long term policies and can convert the weaknesses that we have into strength.. The present government under Modiji has a wide support base. If we allow this govt. to continue we will soon become a 5 trillion dollar economy

pollution in delhi due to vehicles & family having2/3 veh.so what we can do to more use of public transport 1st- cleanlines2-renew(दुरूस्ती)1st besic we earn money for food then why not if in small areas even those who want employment keep their food stall &for cleaning & renovate give them two time food involved in this areas restaurant/hotel,will get revenue then also to change office hours cause early time will help health/save time&use of public transport or nearby areas use bycycle compuls

ये हमेशा देखने को मिलता है कि इतनी बड़ी देश की आबादी और चंद लोगों के बर्ताव से पुरे समाज में प्रभाव पड़ता है और दलित/मुस्लिम समुदाय के बारे में not allow to uttered single word हंगामे शुरू those r also citizens फिर हंगामा काहे का हिंदू को डर में रहना पड़े करता बचपन से तो यही देखा है now big change have been seen from 2014. समाज जिने/प्रगती करने के लिए चाहिए & equally rules to follow one nation one theory/vision जिसे रहना है उसे एक ही नियमों में पिरोना है अब नहीं तो कब एक नियम सादगी जिवन
