Calling for stories, videos and ideas on the 11 Fundamental Duties!

Commemorating the 70th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of India this year on 26th November, 2019 , the Government of India launched a campaign focusing on creating awareness on the Fundamental Duties that are enshrined in Chapter IV-A (Article 51A) of the Indian Constitution throughout the country.

Fundamental Duties impart directions of citizenship behaviour on the part of all concerned. The onus of implementation of Fundamental Duties is on every citizen. Though not legally enforceable, they have an inherent element of compulsion regarding compliance because what is duty for one is another person’s right.

By practicing and thus reinforcing these Fundamental Duties, we, as common citizens, can play a positive and effective role in fulfilling our duties towards our country and fellow citizens and will also ensure that India occupies a rightful place in the comity of nations.

MyGov in collaboration with Department of Justice invites you to share your stories, videos or ideas on the 11 Fundamental Duties.
• to abide by the Constitution and respect its ideals and institutions, the National Flag and the National Anthem
• to cherish and follow the noble ideals which inspired our national struggle for freedom
• to uphold and protect the sovereignty, unity and integrity of India
• to defend the country and render national service when called upon to do so
• to promote harmony and the spirit of common brotherhood amongst all the people of India transcending religious, linguistic and regional or sectional diversities; to renounce practices derogatory to the dignity of women
• to value and preserve the rich heritage of our composite culture
• to protect and improve the natural environment including forests, lakes, rivers and wildlife, and to have compassion for living creatures
• to develop the scientific temper, humanism and the spirit of inquiry and reform
• to safeguard public property and to abjure violence
• to strive towards excellence in all spheres of individual and collective activity so that the nation constantly rises to higher levels of endeavour and achievement
• who is a parent or guardian to provide opportunities for education to his child or, as the case may be, ward between the age of six and fourteen years.

And now in our capital city , due to the blindness caused by the fog the accidents are increasing , as we know the smog which is an intense air pollution will cause as the smoke and other pollutants released by the combustion of fuels and mixes with the fog which is present in our capital city

sir, as we know the most polluted city in the world is Ghaziabad in capital New Delhi . CNG is comparatively less polluted than other fuels. It is also cheaper and easy to transport .So the government should promote the use CNG as a fuel in vehicles , factories etc... . so we can reduce the air pollution .

Fundamental Duty 5- To Promote Harmony and Common Brotherhood फरवरी, 2020 में देश में अनेक स्थानों पर NCR और CAA के नाम पर दंगे हुए। शर्म की बात यह है कि उस समय अमेरिका के राष्ट्रपति डोनाल्ड ट्रम्प भारत की यात्रा पर थे। इन दंगों से भारत की छवि प्रभावित होती है। हमारा कर्तव्य है कि हमे सभी समुदायों में आपसी भाईचारे की भावना को बढ़ाना है। कुछ समुदायों में NCR और CAA को लेकर अफवाह और गलतफहमी थी। उस गलतफहमी और अफवाह को दूर करना हमारा कर्तव्य था।

Sir I would like you to address the nation about rape and also please aware people of India that rape is not done by the short clothes of women but it is because of the corrupted mind of the rapist.Sir I also wanted you to promote social issues advertisment in every channel in India about the rape,corrupted thinking of men towards women etc.So that we can aware people and build a road towards a new modern and liberal and liberal India free from crime against women and children.

Fellow citizens, Please do not stare tourists when they visit our country. Just imagine you in their situation. How would you feel? Also help the tourists both male and female. Especially, female tourists have to be treated nicely, always make them feel safe and please do not stare at them. Always remember Athiti devo bhava

Fundamental Duty 7- To Have Compassion For Living Creatures हर प्राणी को अपने प्राण प्यारे होते हैं। हर प्राणी को सम्मान और प्रतिष्ठा के साथ जीवन जीने का अधिकार है। अतः अन्धविश्वास के नाम पर कभी किसी पशु-पक्षी इत्यादि प्राणी की हत्या नहीं करनी चाहिये। कुर्बानी देने के नाम किसी पशु की हत्या करना उचित नहीं है। यदि किसी के प्राणों की रक्षा करेंगे, तो उसकी दुआयें हमें लगेंगी। यदि कुर्बानी ही देनी है, तो सैनिक बल जैसे किसी व्यवसाय में जाओ। वहाँ खुद की कुर्बानी भी देनी पड़ जाती है। वही सही है।

Fundamental Duty 7- To Have Compassion For Living Creatures पृथ्वी के संसाधनों पर सभी प्राणियों जैसे- मनुष्य, पशु और पक्षी; सभी का बराबर अधिकार है। हमारे घर में जो भोजन पकता है, तो उसका कुछ भाग पशुओं-पक्षियों के लिए भी निकालना चाहिये। हमारे किसी भी कृत्य से पशुओं को कोई हानि नहीं होनी चाहिये।पशुओं को भी स्वच्छ जल और स्वच्छ प्राणवायु को पाने जा अधिकार है। इसका हमें विशेष ध्यान रखना चाहिये।
