Kalyan-Dombivli is one of the 98 cities shortlisted to be developed as a ‘Smart City’ under the Smart Cities Mission of the Government of India. Kalyan Dombivli is in the process of revising the smart city proposal to participate in the Round-2 of Smart City Challenge.

KDMC appreciates the continuous support from citizens in the preparation of the plan. Further, the corporation invites the views and suggestions of the citizens on the draft proposal prepared for Kalyan-Dombivli. **** we have to make kalyan dobivali city **** **steps** १. पाहिले आमच्या सर्व लोकांमध्ये एकाग्रता असावी.. २. आम्ही सर्व लोकांनी एक चैन बनवली पाहिजे..,कारन smart city बनविण्या अगोदर आम्ही स्वता किती smart आहोत.. हे महत्वाचे आहे. 3. smart म्हणजे माणुसकी वर लक्ष देणे कारन.. आज आम्ही बघतो रोडावर गाड़ी चालवताना सर्वांना खुप घाई असते सर्वांना खुप urgent कामे असतात . मान्य . पण का rules तोडून life ला धोक्यात घालून हे smart नहीं...

1) 24 तास रुग्णांसाठी सेवा उपलब्ध आवश्यक आहे 2) वालधुनी नदी व उल्हास नदी व काळु नदीवर अतिरिक्त बंधारे बांधून पाणी आडविणे आवश्यक 3) वाहतुक समस्या सोडविणेसाठी मेट्रो प्रकल्प राबविणे 4) कल्याण शहरालगतच्या नदीमधील घाण, कचरा व गाळ काढून खोली व रुंदी वाढविणे 5) शहर प्रदूषण मुक्त करणेसाठी कारखानदारांवर कारवाई करा

1) शहरातील ट्राफीक समस्या प्राधान्याने सोडविणे आवश्यक आहे 2) शहरातील मुख्य चौक व रस्त्यांवर सिग्नल यंत्रणा कार्यान्वित करणे 3) शहरामध्ये गार्डन्स विकसित करणे

1) महानगरपालिकेने तयार केलेली 24X7 पाणी पुरवठा योजना राबविणे 2) कल्याण डोंबिवली महानगरपालिका पाणी पुरवठयात सक्षम होणेसाठी स्वत:चे मालकीचे स्वतंत्र धरण आवश्यक आहे 3) सांडपाण्याचा पुनर्वापर आवश्यक आहे 4) online संगणक प्रणालीत सुधारणा आवशयक

1) महापालिका क्षेत्रातील सर्व रेल्वे स्टेशन परिसर फेरीवाला मुक्त करणे आवश्यक आहे. 2) रस्ते कॉक्रीटीकरणाची कामे पावसाळयापुर्वी पुर्ण आवश्यक आहेत. 3) शहरातील अंतर्गत रस्ते रुंदीकरण आवश्यक आहे 4) शहरातील कचऱ्याची विल्हेवाट लावणेसाठी प्रकल्प सुरु करुन डंपींगची समस्या प्राधान्याने सोडविणे आवश्यक आहे
