Start Tourist friendly help desks who can provide info on routes, accommodation facilities and provide help over telephone. Home Stays, which are very successful in Kerala, should be implemented nationally with strict registration and security policies.

Sirji, Against all odds, you & your key ministers are doing a fabulous job. However,so far you have not tackled a serious issue of our huge population. A few suggestions are :1) All Govt & Private organisations should put up a notice once a year, displaying names of employees having more than 2 children.2) Their promotions & increments should be affected in one way or the other3) Immediately start a campein of " Hum Do - Hamara Ek "4) Couples opting for only one child should be rewarded. Sirji, pl act fast before it is too late

main cause of unfriendliness for tourists at popular destinations are fleecing at accomodation, transport, and exploitation in markets , somehow govt s should impose thier regulation so that there is no fleecing of tourists, and they are able to spend more

As the "Yojna Aayog" has now become the "NITI Aayog" , with the CMs of the states and LGs of the union territories as its permenant members, the extra-Constitutional advisory body to the erstwhile planning commision - the National Development Council (NDC) , should now be abolised , as all its functions will be taken over by extensively framed and structured NITI Aayog.

State transport corporations should also be encouraged to make package tours which should include both lodging / boarding arrangements. As most of the transport corporations in states are having computerized reservation system, tourist package should also be provided reservation facility. This has tremendous potential to make transport corporation economically rich and huge employment generation in even small towns and villages n addition to cities.
