Customs checking at airports should be under CCTV surveillance connected to a common terminal for verification by higher level officers and should be recorded. there should be a random check by a third tier of officers or board so that the officers will be careful.

There is no need of low cost canteens for MLA's and MP's. Also MLA's and MP's should use low cost airlines , Max. 3 tier Ac if rail is used. Let them interact with common people. This will help government to reduce lot of money.

Every officer below the rank of Secretary should be allowed to use their personal vehicle for official purpose and they should be granted conveyance allowance / fuel expenditure. No vehicle should be purchased by the Govt. for the Officers. If the Officer do not have his own vehicle he may use taxi on actual requirement basis. It will save the money for purchase of vehicles, repairs, salary, Pension, TA DA to the Drivers. Schoffer driven cars should be allowed to the Secretaries & above

India's most wanted need is funds. where do we get it? common people are already tax burdened +loans & EMI's are killing their happiness, so no question on further taxation. swiss bank money seems long road, next is money stuffed by rich people (politicians, babus, business people, agents, policeman, excise man, builders, etc.) which is called Black money. Make income tax Officials & raids very strong, effective and accountable, thus money will flow like a river from within our country.

In response to recent cross border firing, we need to create pressure on trade. I recommend to suspend train and bus facility for time being and revoke work permit issued to all Pakistani actors.

The Indian Tax Administration suffers every minute from mutiple fractures leading from revenue collection pressures plus litigation pressures plus policy induced pressures. The poor tax officer is also not well paid and may be easily induced to other economic gain measures. It is the onerous duty of each citizen of India (corporate / otherwise) to pay proper share of taxes for the country's well being and it is also the onerous duty to the tax collector and law makers to ensure tax equity

Measures to reduce financial cost: 1) Government officers are given mobile as well as landline phones. the department takes the bills, put up to the officer for verification, put up for approval, bills are prepared and submitted to accounts department, then payments are made to the service provider. Merely adopting simple system can save lot of manpower and time. suggestion: A fixed amount be given to the government officer instead, If bill amount is more then govt officer should pay.
