With the GST coming into effect from 1st July, 2017, the biggest indirect tax reform of independent India, is going to transform the way indirect tax is administered in this country, impacting not just businesses but also the common man. GST is a tax on consumption of goods and services, which is levied at all stages right from manufacturing up to final consumption, with credit of taxes paid at previous stages available as setoff. It is going to remove the tax-on-tax effect through separate Central and State tax laws. In a nutshell, under GST, only value addition will be taxed , hence, reducing the burden of tax to be borne by the final consumer.

The most fundamental change in GST besides the consolidation of multiple taxes, is the use of a robust shared IT infrastructure in its operations. All the forms related to registrations, filing returns and other related activities can now be done through the GSTN Portal.

GST will help build an economically stronger India, with 'One Nation, One Tax, One Market.'

for example: Godrej is giving 28% GST, this product is India’s No-1 brand whereas the same GST, how one local small manual manufacturer will pay? definitely he will try to do business without GST, so the same system is continuing in our country there is no change, if you will give a slab of 5% GST for such manufacturer they will take interest to give the GST on their product and do their business honestly they also try to spread their market & business as grow they pay more GST. So please think

Another advice for you please think about the new & smaller industries, not only in furniture for all industries. Now declared GST is only for Indian established company not for new producer, smaller, & Struggler Company’s they will not survive in this GST system. If you will not think for them then I will say you & your party who is ruling now in this country will indirectly encouraging such persons for black market business. Honestly they never accept such rules, for example: Godrej is giving

BUSINESSMAN HAVING BUSINESS PLACE IN THE NAME OF THEIR FAMILY MEMBER. IN THAT CASE DEALER HAS TO GIVE CONSENT LETTER. IN SOME CASE PROPER OFFICER ASK CONSENT LETTER ON STAMP PAPER AND IN SOME CASES OTHER PROPER OFFICERS ALLOW CONSENT LETTER WITHOUT STAMP PAPER ( ALLOWING CONSENT LETTER ON SIMPLE PAGE ).

Respected Mr/Mrs/Ms, I,Gurvinder Singh Brar, Director of Mahasagar cement Co, vill mehmuana, Faridkot, Punjab, want to draw your attention on our cement mini plants which buy clinker(expensive due to monopoly) from major plants to make cement so I want to advice that 28% tax is high for our plants as due to mini plants we get less rate in market.so I want to please request to reduce tax rate on mini plants or it will sevearly effect these sme plants. I will be really thankful to you.

Whoever is end user of any goods and services will have to adjust and it depend upon the gst rate whether product is costly or cheap. But if you are an intermediary and further selling that goods and services to another party. You just take the proper bill of product you have purchased and the tax you paid will be refunded to you as Input Tax Credit.
