There is a huge gap between what is taught in school and the skills required to work in any field. Basic maths/science/history should be there up-to high school. Along with this we should give importance to the following aspects character building, urge for learning, self learning, mental and physical health and helping society. There should not difference among the schools based on what they are providing (syllabus) in whole India but of course there will be difference in the implementation.

Education policy have to be dovetailed to meet the requirement of 21 st century manpower needs. It is unnecessary to waste energies to find solutions,as it will be like reinventing wheel, and easily adopt system in the Top 10 countries. That is a job best left to educationists and not lay people.Ofcourse General public can give ideas about peculiar social problems such as how to bring about social harmony in a diverse country with different religion caste languages ,culture etc.let us not overlook

Due to set mind, most people wants to make their kids either engineer or doctors. We need to council students for opting various other courses which industry required. After school time, sports should also be made mandatory so that we can groom good sports person for our country. We may appoint retired players as coach who will feel proud in grooming the boys and girls. We may use the services of volunteers who are good in training & coaching.

Due to changing dynamics in population, there is a need to provide quality education. Double shifts should be started in all Govt.schools/colleges and more importance needs to be given for apprenticeship so that student can get the employment. Quota system should be stopped and admission should be given on merit. We may provide free coaching to the weaker section so that they should qualify on merit. We expect a growth in infrastructure which will result in more employment.contd. on next post.

The reason why they do well is because they are primarily based on merit and not "reservation"- change that policy, and voila! You will se seismic shifts in the quality of education institutions across the country.

Respected PM sir; My concern is the rapid fall in the quality of primary education in the govt run primary schools. with the introduction of SSA and mid day meal scheme, teachers specially the headmaster and the SMC has become a catering service and thus the actual motive of providing education has become secondary, as because the headmaster is always busy in maintaining accounts and other matters under SSA. I feel it needs rectification so that max childrens are attracted to these schools .

In tune with Make In India there is a need to adjust EP with skills oriented apprentice programms and adopt German system of education. We have a serious problem in that with too many entrance exams students are led to concentrate on these and enroll in coaching class. This in turn gives unfair advantage .Just like GST it is time to adopt a uniform edu system, CBSE, and the marks in the qualifying exam used for Admission. Also to encourage students to learn a third language,Devnagari sciript allL
