To foster the spirit of 'Jan Bhagidari' and to infuse more transparency into the budget making exercise, thereby having people as partners in the process of budget making, the Union Ministry of Finance has decided to invite suggestions for Union Budget 2016-17.

Citizens are requested to submit their ideas and suggestions on the topics that are generally in the ambit of Budget proposals as presented in the Parliament each year.

Suggestions may be submitted either directly in the comments box or through attached PDF documents.

The last date for submissions of suggestions is 5th February 2016.

Honorable PM / FM, I would like to suggest your gov on startup policy, if your government can come up with favorable policy for Non for Profit startups. Getting funds and incubation for such ideas is very difficult where-in profit making ideas are already in long Que. If gov is able to do so I am sure lot of inclusive ideas will come and empower people of our country. I do have one such idea which I think can help to revolutionise our healthcare sector.

We have development but all development concentrated in Metro cities so We need some scheme to transfer all development from Metro cities to mega developing cities. So please introduce Scheme called Demographic India. I am also requesting to Big corporate

Introduce Insurance scheme for the upcoming business entities, who ever comes up with Bank loan funding shall be backed with Insurance, Incase of insolvent of business, Insurance will back up the livelihood of that individual and ensure outstandings shall be cleared. The same individual(s) were not entitled to enter into any other business for another 5 years. This has to be through AADHAR as it is bio metric and centric. Banks should comeup with such a scheme as well encouragement to youth.

if govt wants to increase revenue abolish income tax and bring every household in income tax net, replace income tax with expenditure tax. link Pan card to bank account. end of every month bank will total withdrawals from the account and calculate 1% of total amount as expenditure tax. this amount will be remitted to income tax dept. no reliefs, no filing returns. no evasion. so no black money.income tax dept can randomly check accuracy by checking through PAN No.

B S N L & M T N L A company having infrastructure of more than Rs 2 lakh Cr, and in past having net profit of Rs 10000 Cr fazing loss of Rs 8000 Cr. Landline connection reduced from 5.5 Cr to 3 Cr. Something somewhere WRONG. Please read attached for suggestions.

श्री वित्तमंत्री हमारे देश का जो नोकरी करता नागरिक इमानदारी के साथ टेक्स देता है उसे रिवॉर्ड के रूप में अपने घर के लिए खरीदी हुई मूल्यवान चीजे जैसे की इलेक्ट्रोनिक,सुवर्ण,फर्नीचर(10000 से ऊपर) पर टेक्स रिबेट मिलना चाहिए इससे कॅश व्यवहार कम होगा और जो व्यापारी टेक्स चोरी करता है वो भी कम होगी और अर्थतंत्र में नोटों का चलन कम होने से हम करेंसी मजबूत होगी। आज ज्यादातर ऐसे व्यहवार छोटे शहेरो में कॅश मैं ही होता है।

हमारी सरकार को स्मार्ट सिटी परियोजना के लिए बहुत बहुत धन्यवाद। वर्त्तमान शहरों में जन्शंख्या विष्फोट की परिस्थिति में स्मार्ट सिटी योजना वास्तव में एक सराहनिए प्रयाश है। इससे निश्चय ही विकाशशील भारत के प्रारूप में एक नया आयाम जुरेगा। परन्तु साथ ही जो प्राचीन एवं ऐतिहशिक महत्व के शहर है उन्हें भी किसी न किसी कार्यक्रम से जोरने की जरुरत है ताकि बदलते इस दौर में उनकी महत्व को बरक़रार रखा जा सके। स्मार्ट सिटी के ही तर्ज पर "हेरिटेज सिटी" जैसा कोई कार्यक्रम प्राचीन शहरो के लिए चलाया जा सकता है।

GOVERNMENT SHOULD PRE SET THE BENCHMARCK OF OUTPUT FOR EACH AND EVERY EXPENSE DURING PREPARING BUDGET,BECAUSE I THINK IT IS NOT ENOUGH TO MADE DECLARATION OF MAKING 50000 OR 100000 SCHOOLS ,GOVERNMENT SHOULD ALSO ENSURE THE QUALITY OF EDUCATION PROVIDED BY THIS SCHOOLS ,OTHERWISE IT IS ONLY THE BUILDING STRUCTURE NOT A SCHOOL,AND WASTE OF MONEY OF PEOPLE

Private Educational Institutes of higher learning should be allowed to make a profit. There accounts should be open to audit. This will bring in transparency.
