To foster the spirit of 'Jan Bhagidari' and to infuse more transparency into the budget making exercise, thereby having people as partners in the process of budget making, the Union Ministry of Finance has decided to invite suggestions for Union Budget 2016-17.

Citizens are requested to submit their ideas and suggestions on the topics that are generally in the ambit of Budget proposals as presented in the Parliament each year.

Suggestions may be submitted either directly in the comments box or through attached PDF documents.

The last date for submissions of suggestions is 5th February 2016.

Our businesses do not play their taxes and this makes our tax collection lower and deficits higher. We must begin a drive towards ZERO Cash transactions. With more than 600mn internet users and still growing at a fast clip this could well be achieved in near future that everyone payment is made through online or Mobile transfer. This will also save cost of printing currency. Black money hoarding will be discouraged and an equal participation will come from every quarter of the society.

Sir, introduce new stringent law for swachh bharat. if anyone dirties the place, he should be fined heavily. Introduce cultural tax to boost indian culture. Make everything transparent and online. Increase 500% tax on tobacco, bidis, cigarettes, alcohols, etc... increase entertainment tax. reduce service tax as we are paying money for the services rendered.People claim HRA even when they have own house in same city. This should not be allowed.For tenanted house owner takes cash so do something.

Sir, Introduce new Government welfare tax or Jan bhagidaari tax and deduct 10-100 rupees every month from all and this should be more for business people and real estate. This will boost revenue for government and the same can be utilised for good wok. Also infrastructure is very bad. Do something for the same. Improve roads and sevage system first in all areas in all villages and states. PWD dept. should plan things before putting roads. To increase corruption on new road digging hapens.

Sir increase the limit to 5 lakhs so as middle class are not burdened. Also for jewellers and real estate, revenue department employees, introduce special tax rates as they earn lots and hide their revenues. Introduce special law for property earned through corrupt practices, it should be confiscated instead of VDIS. Please do not be lenient. Introduce a tax on distribution of free things during election. Its all our hard earned tax money which is wasted for getting votes.

Sir in railways introduce security by adding 2 guards in each coach, this will increase employment opportunity and also will protect passengers. Ensure no beggars, thiefs, etc... enter the train. Also the ticket should be checked by them when they board the train.
