To foster the spirit of 'Jan Bhagidari' and to infuse more transparency into the budget making exercise, thereby having people as partners in the process of budget making, the Union Ministry of Finance has decided to invite suggestions for Union Budget 2016-17.

Citizens are requested to submit their ideas and suggestions on the topics that are generally in the ambit of Budget proposals as presented in the Parliament each year.

Suggestions may be submitted either directly in the comments box or through attached PDF documents.

The last date for submissions of suggestions is 5th February 2016.

IT relief for Middle class - 2 Sirs, So many provisions for house tax. one example I have. One Mr. X is having 2 houses. One self occupied , another locked out. but as pet IT , he has to declare fair value for rent?? why?? can you please look into this kind of provisions and remove them. one side you want to give boost to spending and on other side so many limitations.

IT relief for Middle class Sirs, There are plethora of taxes (direct and Indirect), ultimately whatever taxes and surcharges government is imposing, no company is taking/absorbing them but it has been straight away passed to consumer. don't you think we are going towards old age of LAGAN, except the fact that this time milking cow is middle class, who is the highest tax payer already.

Finance Minister should not go soft on deficit. If you are correct, today, and suddenly find that Deficit widening is harming all the hard work, the economy by more than 20 of the current bad scenario assumption , do you have plan to restore back, a second plan to rebound unscathed? Don't encourage the harmful territory, which needs to be eliminated, why use it as a leverage. A miscalculated/mistimed shot at the last moment, You now appear to be planning for it.

Dear Sirs, I think that, the IT professionals have suffer the entire IT dues on them by TDS, without any omissions. Considering the huge experiences in the Metro cities, they have nothing to get any relaxation from other various taxes to be paid. May be consider. Regards.

Let's start from the swachh bharat mission. Give budget to states to make toilets, to place dustbin at frequent places. Leave the idea of digitalised India.firstly let all the poor have shelters to live, food to eat. Leave the idea of smart cities, first work on to eliminate corruption. Provide safe drinking water.come & see the urea rich water Leave the idea of make in India, firstly strengthen the education system, stop import of cheap yet harmful products from other countries.
