Insurance sector is becoming victim of wrong strategies India is the only country where double taxation has been imposed on the customers eg. After paying income tax on the money, if you invest any sum in a single premium policy, you have to pay again income tax on entire amount i.e. what you invested plus what you get by way of Bonus or Loyalty. Pension products where lump sum amount is invested and moreover there is no insurance element therein, service tax @3.625 is being levied by Govt

Recent slowdown has cost jobs of many people in private sector. As a compassionate measure, it is requested to implement Hon'ble 7th Pay Commission's recommendation to raise limit of Gratuity to Rs 20 lakhs with effect from 1st January 2016. In absence of unemployment allowance or social security in our country, this small measure will go a long way to alleviate financial distress of citizens who lost their jobs recently.

sir go digital go fully digital transaction (make cap on cash transaction for deposit and withdrawal from bank account either savings or current; make cap 50000/- > 30000/- >10000/- >1000/- step wise, from any single account and in a single day. and these will help reduction of corruption. also reduce the crime in the society. reduce the cost of transaction , cost of transportation of cash, less paper, so less tree felling, and will make India green and clean.

Respected Finance Minister, I have small suggestion that Big Industries/Corporate Houses are exempted of Tens if not Hundreds of Thousand crores of Sales Tax each year around budget time. Isn't it Loss of Huge Tax income to Govt & country & small Tax payers are shown as Tax evaders & loss to exchequer. Why not Collect Tax which is applicable as per Law to big Industries in same way as small Tax payers pay. This will develop Trust & Confidence in Govt for common men, AAM AADMI .Jai Hind

Although the collection is mostly through indirect taxes, it's time to change this and adapt such a system of direct tax so that more and more citizens are involved, Be it less collection individually rather than high collections from less individuals. For the same, dramatic steps are needed to be taken with the intention of 100% declaration of funds and assets by individuals through lowering of taxes which is the only way to lure people into it. Once everyone gets involved, it'll go up itself.

Finance Minister must consider such idea of receiving ₹1 per month as developmental tax from each and every citizen of India. This will ensure every citizen's contribution.

Dear sir, As citizens of India, wouldn't we contribute ₹1 per month to government for development of our country.Since in our country, there are only 2-3% people who pay income tax which is a worrying situation. Some arrangements must be done as to receive ₹1 per month only from each and every citizen of India. This will contribute about ₹120 crores per month to government's account according to the our population which can be used for public welfare purposes.I believe we can sacrifice that much.
