To foster the spirit of 'Jan Bhagidari' and to infuse more transparency into the budget making exercise, thereby having people as partners in the process of budget making, the Union Ministry of Finance has decided to invite suggestions for Union Budget 2016-17.

Citizens are requested to submit their ideas and suggestions on the topics that are generally in the ambit of Budget proposals as presented in the Parliament each year.

Suggestions may be submitted either directly in the comments box or through attached PDF documents.

The last date for submissions of suggestions is 5th February 2016.

one days salary from each employee should be deducted for social security such as old age pension unemployed youths etc.

रेलों के वातानुकूलित बोगियों मे दी जाने वाले कंबल , चादर , तकिये को बंद कराया जाये । जरूरी कंबल इत्यादि को ऑर्डर पर मांगने की व्यवस्था हो । वातानुकूलित यानों के पर्दों को हटा दिया जाए । रेलों के कुर्सी यान की कुर्सियों को ज्यादा आरामदेह बनाया जाए । रिटायरिंग रूम एवं प्रतीक्षालय की सुविधा मे 10 गुना तक इजाफा कराया जाये ।

Dear Sir, Corruption in our govt is increasing, i want to highlight on one of Govt department "Internation taxation" where govt officer are harassing peaple like any thing, the said department is concern with import export & internation business but if staff in such department is not behaving properly than we may lose our internation market & our MAKE IN INDIA Concept may not be successfully please do some thing. 100% Digitaliation may be a good solution

There should be a single head for exemptions for salaried people and other for non-salaried people provided they make saving/investment in 80D instruments, 80CCD instruments like NPS, Self/parent medical insurance, home loan interest and these all should not be kept in separate buckets. Together an exemption of 4 lac for salaried and 3 lac for non-salaried employess (as they can show some personal expense out of their income already).

रेलों के ' स्लीपर क्लास ' की बोगियों को ज्यादा सुविधापूर्ण बनाया जाए । पुरानी बोगियों को जितनी शीघ्र हो सके बदला जाए । स्टेसनों और बोगियों की सफाई को और बढ़ाया जाए ।

1 ग्रामीण स्कूलों मे खेलों के लिए भारी भरकम राशि का प्रावधान किया जाए । 2 ग्रामीण स्कूलों के 'काया - कल्प ' मे इच्छुक निजी क्षेत्र की भागीदारी के लिए दिशा निर्देश तय किया जाए । 3

#Budget Distribute the fund generated from Swachhbharat Cess, according to the size of the population and area of the district to the district collector and let the collector distribute it further to municipalities, and other local bodies to create the necessary infrastructure. Prepare a Pan India environment friendly, garbage collection, processing and disposal policy to guide the local bodies. Use the public transportation vehicles to emphasize on the necessity of recycling and cleanliness.

The Rs 15000 deduction for medical services is really too low to cover the actual out patient medical expenses of a family in a year. It is very painful to pay taxes even on the medical expenditure reimbursement. Please increase this limit to a more practical level.

Mutual fund distributors are being levied service tax since the last budget. This tax is very high and prohibitive in nature. We total taxation including service tax and income tax is more than that levied on cigarette. Are mutual funds as harmul cigarette? Sincere request to remove service tax on mutual fund distributors.
