To foster the spirit of 'Jan Bhagidari' and to infuse more transparency into the budget making exercise, thereby having people as partners in the process of budget making, the Union Ministry of Finance has decided to invite suggestions for Union Budget 2016-17.

Citizens are requested to submit their ideas and suggestions on the topics that are generally in the ambit of Budget proposals as presented in the Parliament each year.

Suggestions may be submitted either directly in the comments box or through attached PDF documents.

The last date for submissions of suggestions is 5th February 2016.

Ease of doing business in India. Dear Sir, Your Government is doing a lot for making it easy for doing business in India, however there are still several areas which needs policy change for this to be successful. There were some changes made by the previous Government which are a hurdle in doing business in India. One such problem is in the Companies Act, the section 186 of the Companies act very hard on the companies. There is no need to apply this section to private limited companies.

ON JANUARY 14, 2016,THE PRICE OF INDIAN BASKET OF CRUDE OIL WAS AT RS 1,773.19 PER BARREL.ONE OIL BARREL IS 159 LITRES.THIS MEANS THAT ONE LITRE OF THE INDIAN BASKET OF CRUDE OIL COSTS RS. 11.2 PER LITRE.ONE LITRE BOTTLED WATER COSTS RS 20 PER LITRE.ON 01.02.2016 INDIAN CRUDE PRICED AT RS. 13.25 PER LITRE.IT IS GROSSLY ILLEGAL,OPPRESSIVE,UNDEMOCRATIC & TOTALLY UNJUSTIFIED AS INDAN GOVERNMENT DEREGULATED OIL PRICES ON 25.06.2010. SUPREME/HIGH COURTS TO INTERVENE AND PASS SUO MOTTO VERDICT

I have one suggestion regarding proposed Bullet Train on Mumbai-Ahemadabad track. We need to explore and build it indigenous thereby aim to save up to 20% - 25% of Rs.98,000 crore (i.e. Rs.20,000 - 24,000 crore) that can be spent & utilised for creating new railway lines where our countrymen has none (even after 68 years of independence) which will certainly benefit to lakhs of people as compared to people of Mumbai-Ahemadabad. This certainly make sense from economic & equality point of view.

Respected dignitaries, I have paid income tax since last 5 years, however first time i share my views on budget. Thank u for providing forum or atleast listen our views.. In our tax system, salarised peraon honestly pay income tax regularly, so requested to give some more additional exemption in tax, specially payer to 5 to 10 lakhs income group.. increase limit of Hra and other heads of income, infact tax payer paid more than he gets from employer.

महोदय,बिजली उत्पादन में जो अभी तक तरीका प्रयोग किया जा रहा है उसमें सुधार करना चाहता हुँ क्योंकि आज जो तरीका प्रयोग हो रहा है उससे संसाधनों का पूर्ण उपयोग नही हो पा रहा है मेरे पास ऐसे तरीके हैं जिससे देश ऊर्जा के मामले में आत्मनिर्भर हो सकता है

everyone should pay minimum tax of Rs 50/- per month ( earning more than 1L). Income tax should outsourced to find out undisciplined employment workers- should made the salary through cheque only - should use senior citizen for this kind of work. Senior should be use for the social welfare programme.

1) middle class citizens r burdened with income tax. Pl raise the slab to 10L 2) sansad adarsh gram yogana is a very powerful idea. To encourage MPs and villagers, MODI Ji pl visit Atleast 2 villages per month. This will infuse enthusiasm, competition among villages. 3) how will swacch Bharat work without a waste managemnt policy! Ppl r busy with their jobs, I don't think govt shld expect ppl to clean. Provide facility and ask ppl to follow cleanliness. No city even has dustbins!!

महोदय,कृपया इस बार बजट में मुद्रा योजना में ग्रामीण क्षेत्र के स्कूलों को उनके उन्नयन हेतु तथा शिक्षा के उत्कर्ष के लिए 10 लाख तक का ऋण उपलब्ध कराने का स्पष्ट प्रावधान करें.बैंको को स्पष्ट निर्देश हो कि वे छोटे स्कूलों को भवन निर्माण स्कूल शिक्षण सामग्री हेतु ऋण दें.
