To foster the spirit of 'Jan Bhagidari' and to infuse more transparency into the budget making exercise, thereby having people as partners in the process of budget making, the Union Ministry of Finance has decided to invite suggestions for Union Budget 2016-17.

Citizens are requested to submit their ideas and suggestions on the topics that are generally in the ambit of Budget proposals as presented in the Parliament each year.

Suggestions may be submitted either directly in the comments box or through attached PDF documents.

The last date for submissions of suggestions is 5th February 2016.

Sir I want to suggest that small budget hotels having up to 20 rooms should be exempted from service tax if they are selling rooms upto rs1500 which right now is below rs 1000 .The reason behind is that the minimum expanses incurred in one room is around rs800 which includes electricity consumption, water ,staff salary ,maintaining property,laundry etc.moreover budget customers are not capable of paying extra amount.If you consider our point it will help boom domestic tourism n help hoteliers ..

Mid day meal scheme in government school shall be reviewed, NGO shall be encouraged to take up the job of providing nutritious meal in schools with the help of school children's mother father. finances shall be provided through school to NGOS.this will avoid corruption in this scheme & our children will get better food. these children are back bone of india .

Girl child. Celebrating the girl child your able govt. introduced sukanya samriddhi scheme. Let the girl child enjoy the benevolence of her grand parents also by allowing senior citizens to invest in this scheme under 80cc for their grand daughter. They may not be there when the girl child receives it but will be remembered. Socially also bequeathing assets for a girl child will get promoted. Thank You.

all government employees who are paying regular tax and also filing IT-return shall be given more incentives for saving under 80c & other section. Honest tax payers should be rewarded with special tax slab percentage like 2-5 % reduction in each slab.

मनरेगा का प्रयोग नदियों के पुनर्जीवित करने , नमामि गंगे , जलाशयों की सफाई करने , खेल मैदानों एवं स्कूलों के कायाकल्प जैसे कार्यों मे हो ।
