Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will share his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ with the farmers of India on 22nd March 2015.

The Prime Minister is very keen to interact with his farmer sisters and brothers across India and would also like to hear their thoughts, ideas and insights on a wide range of issues relating to agriculture. He has requested farmers across India to write to him and send letters to ‘Mann Ki Baat, Akashvani, Sansad Marg, Delhi – 110001’. Some farmers can ask the Prime Minister their question directly during the episode.

MyGov also gives you all this wonderful opportunity to contribute through ideas and inputs for the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ episode with India’s hardworking farmers.

The PM has repeatedly said that India cannot progress until the farmers of the Nation progress and has assured that the Centre will leave no stone unturned in ensuring the agricultural progress of India.

Honorable PM.Sir, System to be developed that Patwari/ Gram sewak visited in their respected area and make sure that insurances of cultivated crops has been done in time. These processes will help to make less financial burden on government at the time of Natural calamity and farmers will get sufficient compensation in due time.

Respected Sir,Condition of farmers is really a serious issue in our country.Every year they are committing suicide. This year,Because of heavy rainfall our farmers are in worst situation.State Government's are doing survey but affected farmers are yet to be identified. In this situation,Only you are the ray of Hope.Potato production in west bengal is huge,But it also become bad situation.I think " Diversity with equality " should be maintained in our country.Fix the lowest cost of crops.

R/S PM ji Aapki sarkar kahi se bhi kisan hit me kaam nhi kar rahi. Ek tarf aap kisano ki zammen ko unse cheen kar food security ko dhakka phuncha rhe hai aur unse unki zindgi cheen rhe hai dusri tarf GM faslo ko protshahit kar hmari jaiv vibhinta ke liye khtra bdha rhe hai. Aako to yeh yakini bnana chahiye tha k kisan ki zameen koi bhi cheen na paye bina uski sehmti ka. Par aapne to unse sehmti ka adhikar bhi cheen liya.

Dear modi ji if you can kindly ensure that the land taken from a farmer for a particular reason or use govt can not change use of land and in case the project for which land is taken shaal be started within a year of equitition and shall be completed in 5 years . If govt fails to do so than the land will automatically belong to its owner . There should be no litigation involved or allowed by the govt authority

I think a nice way to encourage Parents, esp fathers in poorer farming families, to make their daughter's educated would be to make a Scheme whereby Farmer Fathers will be eligible for Special Incentives/Reduced Interest Rates (from gramin banks) if they are able to produce the School IDs of their girl child, which should be mandatorily filed every year to ensure continuance of both the financial benefit and education of the girl child !
