Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will share his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ with the farmers of India on 22nd March 2015.

The Prime Minister is very keen to interact with his farmer sisters and brothers across India and would also like to hear their thoughts, ideas and insights on a wide range of issues relating to agriculture. He has requested farmers across India to write to him and send letters to ‘Mann Ki Baat, Akashvani, Sansad Marg, Delhi – 110001’. Some farmers can ask the Prime Minister their question directly during the episode.

MyGov also gives you all this wonderful opportunity to contribute through ideas and inputs for the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ episode with India’s hardworking farmers.

The PM has repeatedly said that India cannot progress until the farmers of the Nation progress and has assured that the Centre will leave no stone unturned in ensuring the agricultural progress of India.

Major problems for farmers is storing of goods produced either by themselves or thru govt support warehouse. What he produces he has to sell at the same time. If the prices are down he sells at a loss and if prices are good the middle men takes away everything. Farmers need basic education in agriculture and also to make non-agricultural income from there land parcels. Today, we are seeing farmers from WB are having problems due to potato price crash. better FCI & WAREHOUSE are the solutions

Govt should promote Organic farming specially in small farmers with finance, subsidy and sales&Marketing support... This way small farmers will be protected, earn good money and also organic farming will get big push!!! "Ek Tir se do Shikar"

Right from Sonia down to the smallest politician in India owns big land parcels in their own name as well as in the name of their family members. They kept them even when they violated the land ceiling Act. That is their real love for the farmers. They also keep the farmer in the poverty net in order to harvest their votes. The government should think of ACQUIRING LAND WITHOUT ALIENATING THE FARMERS.

Agriculture & livestock production are highly viable if produced professionally like an industry in a bigger scale. Farmers are handicapped with high technology knowledge, management skill and financial support. goi should avoid age-old concept of subsidizing farmers & develop 'Model Green Village' in each district using MP fund and i can assure you within a short span the socioeconomic condition of villagers will change fast i can provide free 24x7 consultancy for such project

#MannKiBaat #Farmers most farmers are paid below msp prices..govt official and middle men are involved in it..govt official tells farmer his crop is of low qualityand offers farmer very little price then middle men comes make offer little more than govt. official but quite less than msp, the farmer is compelled 2 sell below msp and further govt. official buys same crop from middlemen at msp.. online quality certificate centre run by both public and private labs if made available will resolve it.
