Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will share his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ with the farmers of India on 22nd March 2015.

The Prime Minister is very keen to interact with his farmer sisters and brothers across India and would also like to hear their thoughts, ideas and insights on a wide range of issues relating to agriculture. He has requested farmers across India to write to him and send letters to ‘Mann Ki Baat, Akashvani, Sansad Marg, Delhi – 110001’. Some farmers can ask the Prime Minister their question directly during the episode.

MyGov also gives you all this wonderful opportunity to contribute through ideas and inputs for the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ episode with India’s hardworking farmers.

The PM has repeatedly said that India cannot progress until the farmers of the Nation progress and has assured that the Centre will leave no stone unturned in ensuring the agricultural progress of India.

Respected PM Sir.. AS u know very well Farmers & Agriculture are basic unit of our country. When i say to my father for stoping the farming, due to, day by day losses & minimum price issues, i am surpised when they told to me what u (peoples which lives in cities) eat. i think he is right. Basic problems of our farmers are -1)minimum price of crop are very Low inspite of hard work 2).Dependency on Rain water 3).Lack of Education of famers by govt.bodies which deal with agriculture development

Vikramaditya Singh Basic needs of farmers are labour, fertilizers seeds and water for Rabi, Khariph and Jayad. MNREGA should include agriculture. Agromachines should be subsidized as Fertilisers and seeds .. Diesel pump sets are proving costly and polluting too. Government bore wells with 24x7 power for water. DirectGovt.purchase. Payment within a week. Natural calamities compensation should be given fast to ensure no suicide by farmers.PM is requested to make fool proof systems as suggested.

Dear PM,please tell farmers to minimize use pesticides, insecticides and chemical fertilizers. Please tell farmers that lives of Indian and their health are in their hands. If they use disproportionate amount of chemicals it will gradually spoil health of Indians for which they are indirectly responsible. Farmers owns land which is national property and national property should not be spoiled by their irresponsible way of farming and use of chemical fertilizers without requirement.

It is of utmost importance to take the farming-community on board when the country intends to go an extra mile to ensure that none of the facilities remains alien for any of its citizens. And, the farmers are to be convinced that while Government can make extra efforts to arrange funds to fund well-fare schemes, it DEPENDS, REPEAT DEPENDS ON THE FARMERS WHEN IT COMES TO MAKEING AVAILABLE LAND FOR JOB-CREATING INDUSTRIAL UNITS AND THE PROJECTS FOR RAISING DWELLING UNITS FOR WEAKER SECTIONS

pradhanmantriji land aqusition bill jo lekar aane wale hai, chuki aapke netritva me aa raha hai to no doubt kisano ke hit me hi hoga...lekin ek baat mai apani taraf se add karna chahunga... 1.kisano ki jo land hospital, railway, housing ke liye le rahe wo to baat samajh me aa raha hai ki unka uchit muawaja kisano ko diya jayega. 2.lekin jo land industrialist ko diya jayega wah land lease par di jaye jiska ki unko monthly income hota rahe isase garibi ko controle karne me madat milegi.

Dear Sir, I have following points with regard to forthcoming 'mann ki baat': (a)My Govt. has given many tax exemptions to industry, please do little for farmers to improve their life (b) In rural areas, we don't have scheduled electric supply to run tubewells for irrigation purpose. Please make arrangements that min. 12 hours electric supply reaches as per schedule every day. Non supply of electricity affects farming adversly.Diesel subsidy will invite pilferage & will be expensive Regards
