On 17th November 2014 Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address a large gathering of the Indian community settled in Australia in Sydney, during his visit to Australia.

The PM wants to hear from the Indian community in Australia. This is a specially created forum to share what you feel the Prime Minister should address during his speech! Share your thoughts on how relations between India and Australia can be strengthened, particularly in trade, commerce and tourism.

Shri Modi will not only share some of the ideas received but also will share the names of those who shared the ideas.

Modiji pronam, to have passport, in the passport seva office every thing is nice.But when people go to have police verification extreme harassment is there.They ask documents related to the educational qualification of deceased father even after production of death certificates & they even ask for school certificates of mother although mother's ADHAR CARD,PAN CARD,Voter ID CARD & Ration card are produced.Pl. fix list of documemts to be produced at PS & stop this methodical rishwat khori by PS.

Australia' west coast and Tasmania remains unexplored and India can assist in Exploration for Hydrocarbon and rich minerals. Tourism connects nations and both Countries can prepare joint Tourism action plan. Education is an important exchange of people and culture and needs to be strengthened and students be protected from Racial Slurs.

Share Indian culture with local community, that way it becomes easier for Indians to follow Indian culture in Australia. DO NOT cocoon yourself in following Indian culture. Indian culture is rich and ancient, however, caution, do not sit on high-horse and judge others. Unity among Indian community—How important it is, how it impacts “Brand” India. Adapt to local culture, however, promote and pass on Indian culture to next generation. The Hon PM Narendra Modi Ji, The time period of granting of Non-Contributory visa for becoming PR should be reduced (Now it takes 10-15 years) for those parents who have only one child and is settled in Australia as a PR or citizen.
