In my opinion the more languages our children know the greater is the possibility of cardinal and congenial relations between diverse culture in our country. No doubt mother tongue is as integral part but exposure to new world will increase there opportunities to infinity.

ensuring elementary education from 1st class to 8th class only in mother tongue in order to strengthen cultural integration of the country. Mother tongue is only the media of the children to communicate effectively. At the same time it is right of the children to obtain education in his mother tongue. Hence I suggest the government of India to ensure elementary education is to be important to the children in their respective mother tongues.

In my opinion an individual thinks,understands and develops a concept only in mother tongue whatever the medium of instruction may be.I feel there is no replacement for english.There are so many scientific terms that cannot be translated into local languages.Having said that ,I feel that explaining a difficult concept or hypothesis while teaching science in local language becomes easier for a student who is not very conversant with english language.' Our mind is driven by our mother tongue'.

Some schools begin offering to teach a second language as early as middle school. Many schools and employers are requiring specific language requirements part of their application process.

Education must go through Mother tongue only. English must be used as additional language only but not medium. The original history of Indians and India must be taught from elementary level. Ethical and Moral Education have to be major part.
