Like in Singapore, introduce a stipended mandatory 3 year national service with desh bhakti for youth a pre-requiste for college education, Government, Private sector jobs. Result: country will be disciplined, most of the crimes will vanish and these will serve the country and many of them will easily join the armed services and will eliminate civil hooligans. Law abiding Democracy breeds lawless mafia which is undefeatable or which can never be subdued.

Happy Republic Day India. My question is when our education system will be at par that of USA so that we can stop migration of the most brilliant minds of India ? Ranking matters me least but even then none of our institution comes in List of Top 100 of world. Higher education system needs to be improved. We should have an arrangement with USA on this as well.

My question is to Mr. Obama. First of all, a very warm welcome to India. Many scientists and scholars from India have already settled in the US. Many of them have subsequently made both the nations proud. What's your opinion of the Indian diaspora settled there? Will you ease VISA norms for highly qualified Indians?
