6. The exam must evaluate knowledge and not the memory
7. The exam must evaluate values also
8. The application of the knowledge must be measured in the exam
9. Evaluation must be objective centered, and not text book centered
10. The passing standard must be 70%. The student who fails to achieve this mark in any subject must be stopped in the same standard FOR THAT SUBJECT ONLY !! If he achieves good mark in other subjects, he can move ahead to higher class.

1. The examination system should be based on holistic evaluation
2. Both objective and descriptive questions must be asked in the written exam
3. In MCQ type ques. all the choices should be correct but the students have to choose the most correct option.
4. The weightage should be divided into written, oral and practical types of evaluations
5. In all these forms, most of the ques. must be out of the way-means they can not be answered directly from the book. I suggest OPEN BOOK EXAM frm that
